I kind of miss the impulsivity that certain spaces used to allow. oh you want a hair cut today? hairdresser in the corner can fit you in before her 2 o’clock. tattoo of a cobra… sure leg or arm? even concerts, back when you could go to the box office thirty mins before any show. not saying these things don’t exist at all, but everything feels booked five months in advance and 10x more expensive
And then you find some people who go like "ugh ugh young people these days don't understand what it means to be 15 minutes late for a haircut appointment. It means you stole these 15 minutes that the hair dresser spent doing nothing!!! When they could have cut your hair and go home!!! You don't know what accountability means these days!!! You just want to steal people's free time if you have a valid reason to be late or early!!! You have to be there on exact time otherwise you're a horrible and irresponsible person!!!"
Like I'm sorry man , not everyone can fit a tight schedule and your rules all the time. Some of us walk slowly or are in traffic or whatever. It's important to respect rules but it's also important to be an understanding human.
