lying on f/o’s stomach while they pet your hair. it’s been a long day, and their warmth is your respite. maybe you can hear whatever they’re watching from behind you as you bury your face in their neck. maybe they’re just rambling mindlessly. maybe they’re silent, listening to your breaths, enjoying a short moment of peace. no matter what, they’re happy to help you take some much-needed time to relax.

nudging your cheek against f/o’s. bumping your nose against f/o’s. planting tiny, quick kisses as you nuzzle them. soft smiles; quiet giggles. feeling the warmth of their skin thanks to your touch. feeling the warmth of their love.

f/o telling you that you’re their favorite….. out of everyone, you’re the one they cherish most, the one they have the best time with, the one they trust most, admire most, want to protect most… holding your hands, looking at you with such love in their eyes…….

taking in strays with f/o…. either you or f/o or both just can’t resist their sad, mangy faces — you just have to help them all!!!! taking in more and more until your place is taken over by the animals and you’re buying an unimaginable amount of pet food every week and wow is potty training 4 of them at once a nightmare, but getting to see them curl up around f/o at night and watching f/o smile and scratch beneath their chins makes it so so worth it so it’s not like any of the other stuff matters anyway
