i know there's a lot of stuff about being gentle with yourself and taking it easy, and i totally agree with it, but i also want you to know that it's okay to say no to yourself sometimes. if you stayed in bed yesterday, it's okay to force yourself to get up. and if you haven't gone to the gym or gone outside or eaten a healthy meal lately, you can say 'enough' and force yourself to take better care of you. self care is being gentle with yourself, but it's also knowing that you can do better for yourself.
