In all seriousness though, I am very touched that you feel this way about my blog, and I'm really glad that you feel safe here. It's always been important to me to be open and authentic about my Jewishness and my Judaism, and to showcase the Jewish values that I live and practice everyday, and to also show that there is Judaism outside of what the mainstream representations of Judaism are showing you, and that diverse, egalitarian, spiritually rich Judaism is and always has been here, pre-existing movements and denominations, pre-existing hateful ideologies! I wish you well in your journey exploring conversion. If that's something you do end up pursuing, I hope you find a synagogue, a rabbi, and physical community that you feel that same passion and love and safety from. Sending you and yours so much love!

Honestly, it's so welcoming coming back into the house from a long, hot afternoon working in the garden, and just breathing in and being met with that scent. Pair it with the scent from the fresh lemons I squeezed for lemonade today as well. Perfection.
