ADVANCED GRIMOIRE IDEAS âĻïļ
Hello! There are plenty of "ideas that aren't basic" and the general correspondence lists we associate with our witchybooks. Here's a few more that maybe you haven't considered:
ð Spiritual Psychosis (yes, really). Having experienced this phenomenon more than once, I finally added an entry regarding SP to my grimoire today. There's nothing quite like it, but it's a terrifying experience that often speaks to underlying issues (for me, an eating disorder!) Write about warning signs, health concerns, etc.
ð Confirmation Bias - what is it? Why can it impede your Craft? How can it contribute to SP?
ð Mundane causes to rule out before assuming a malevolent haunting, curse, or other undesirable phenomena (e.g. mold, repairs, health issues)
ð First aid! How to dress wounds, make splints, soothe burns, clean cuts, and speed up the healing process. (Do you have plenty of rest, and food? Did you know your body needs plenty of both to heal any and all injuries?)
ð Intense dreams you've had that stay in your mind to this day, detail for detail (as you can recall them). It's a bit surprising when I come back to a dream and realize what it was trying to tell me, years later.
ð media that has a deeper significance in your practice. I have entire entries on Alice In Wonderland, Tim Burton's film 9, and Jim Henson's Labryinth. (Portal fantasy heroine fictions, my beloved).
ð Mystery experiences and rituals, like handfasting, initiation, dedication, croning/saging etc. The point of The Mysteries is they are difficult to explain, and often cannot be relayed to another person. So writing them out for yourself can help you understand them better.
