I do love Tudor style architecture, although there isn't nearly enough Baroque style architecture present today either, it's all moved towards a minimalist design, contemporary open floor plan layouts, horrible grey or neutral shades on interiors as way to make it appeal theoretically more marketable for selling but honestly, would you want to live in a place like that or one with character? ~

I miss brick homes, not the facade actually made from bricks, the old stone cottages dotting coast of Ireland and Scotland like pictured in movies, sure the thatched roofs may look dated given modern roofing options that are prevalent but if it can with stand the weather in that area I just find it so charmingly beautiful. Not to mention the beautiful clay tiled roofs that are not often seen on residential properties ~
