So a famous meteorologist drove past my house chasing a tornado that touched down,
Seemed weak, only some trees knocked down from what I've heard, I got a power surge and complete silence at my house.
Not going to lie I was panicking a bit since my house doesn't really have a good spot to hide from tornadoes, and I don't usually talk about my religion ever, but the first tornado to drop down (two touched down total I think) was heading straight towards my house, and I was saying a quiet prayer in my head and then I felt like I should reach out to my sister, who is currently serving a mission for our church, and she and her companion prayed for us, and well. The tornado changed course to go past us, it also lifted before it did to much damage I believe,
But like five minutes before that warning expired we got a new one, one dropped right by our house, our sister told us that we'd be okay and we'd just get a few branches and a power bump. So I put my trust in her, as she felt confident enough to tell me that while out of state and no real way to know what was going on, the thunder not more aggressive and so did the wind, before after awhile things went quiet out, like quieter than I ever experienced before, but I knew that ment it was close, then after a few minutes I think, we had a power surge, short but enough for me to understand, but I remember feeling calm. Like I knew everything was going to be okay even though I know that the tornado was close I had a feeling it wouldn't hit us. And it didn't, the warning left a few minutes after the surge, and just like it was over.
We're still in a watch right now and will be for a few more hours I think, but I feel a lot more confident that we'll be okay.
(Update, Two tornadoes EF1 and EF2 the EF2 was the one that gave us a power surge and we ended up driving past some after math on our way to work)
Wow I didn't think I'd make this post long, but oh well. I plan on posting art soon, I just need to actually draw
So have my boi magic instead. And I do apologize for the sudden religious talk, I most likely won't ever bring it up again as I tend to keep it to myself mostly, but I felt like it was something I should add so I did.
And my beautiful little girl Circe who sadly passed away Oct 6th,
But yeah that's my ramble, thank you for time, (no hashtags because I don't feel it's necessary, just wanted to talk about the weather but had no one left to tell that I or someone else had already told)
