I discovered the real, raw and genuine art of Jeff Buckley here on tumblr years ago. Someone posted this and I was first struck by it without knowing what I was about to experience with the rest of the album. Grace.

People usually know him for his cover “Hallelujah”, but it is just a fraction of what the album and the rest of his work is.

I’m so grateful to have stumbled upon “Forget her”. Discovering this album was the best gift ever.

So I share this and maybe it’ll be a gift to someone else too :)

Hello everyone! And Happy New Year!

I am so delighted to release "HIGH" today.

All songs mean something to me but this one means a bit more.

I remember starting this new tumblr a year and a half ago because I didn't know what to do, I was too fking depressed lmao and I flew to Budapest to record songs with a friend passed last October. The songs are now published for some of them.

Imagine you're on your horses, face painted over, surrounded by many others ready to charge in the battle of your lives against the invisible enemy who's absolutely everywhere and won't stop until you're out.

It's pretty scary. Winning sounds like fantasy. But you still dive in the fight shouting "HIIIIIGH!!". Despite the odds, you have no choice but try.

"HIGH" is a battle cry against this energy s*cker that's called "depression".

A lot of you know what it is. Some may have been into it for a short time, some others for years, and some even live with it their entire lives until someone points it out to them.

It's been more than 10 years for me. And I have just decided to say "stop" when I realised what it truly was : it gets physical. You're trapped in your own brain. But I worked against this latter and the wheel started turning the way round. It was the toughest time of my life but "if you're in hell, keep walking" helped me hold on so much.

Now that I'm awake it's like I'm being born for the first time and honestly, I feel like I've been sniffing everyday 😂

I'm so happy! I'm out of there, I can finally sing it to you. ✨

Be gentle, patient and kind to yourself, the same way you are with people. Forgive yourself for whatever the f you did or not.

In my opinion, guilt and fear of judgement are the key to hell.

I believe heaven and hell are dimensions we get to go through while alive, not after! We are our own judges.

HEAVEN IS HERE.

To those who are fighting at the moment, this song is shouting for you, with you.

And those who are living their best lives this song will always be there to recharge you a little if needed, I hope 😝
