Been getting invited to interviews with big companies but I’ve never landed the HR position I wanted. The most recent rejection I received was from Grab. I’m okay with the rejections actually pero somehow they still make me sad huehue.

Still, I’m choosing to see each one as practice and motivation to do better. Maybe one day, the right opportunity will finally say yes to me pero sabi ni co-star eh not this month. Huhu

Who would've thought that after three days after posting this, I'd receive a call from the company I least expected to hear from?

The recruiter called and told me I was selected.

It still feels surreal tbh. I never imagined I'd be joining one of the nicest companies here in the Philippines and it's the TWT! I'll finally get the international experience I've been wanting for the longest time.

I guess this is your reminder that not every interview you overthink ends in rejection hehi. Sometimes the opportunities you think you've already lost are actually finding their way to you. Thank you, Lord and St. Jude! ✨

Took an exam today, and wow, I'm disappointed that I wasn't able to finish the 50-item assessment. Since it was a Predictive Index test, I can't help but overthink it. I don't know, I just feel a bit empty because I genuinely saw myself working at that company and growing there as an HR.

Received a message around 3:30 AM the next day and was invited for a final interview with the HR VP, who is based in the US, at 9:00 PM that same day.

I don't know if I was able to sell myself well enough but I think I did. Praying for the best. 🤍

June 20, 2026 x Leslie's and Abagatan ti Manila. Reunited with my former NW HR Ops Team and my ever-pretty line manager, Ms. Lois. Some things never change! Good company, meaningful conversations, and plenty of laughs. So good to catch up with them! Received also the Taiwan pasalubong Steffi, so yum!
