my dear melancholy,

me and my fake scenarios against the world

till my avoidant personality do us apart

a big part of who i am is who i am not anymore

busy all day doing angel activities

why is it that making our dreams come true and being truly happy are often two separate things?

just a girl trusting the progress & enjoying the journey

suddenly i don't want anyone to know me as deeply anymore, which is weird because i have always yearned for someone to understand my soul

perhaps nothing else on earth matters, besides the love you take in, and the love you put out

the most beautiful person is the one who fears the impact of their words on the hearts of others

finding your people makes you realize there was nothing wrong with you in the first place

how good to have quite days where you don't have to explain yourself to anyone. to sit with your favorite songs, your favorite books, your favorite cup of tea. to be okay even when no one is checking up on you. to find comfort in your own presence, to realize that your happiness doesn't depend on who stayed or left. to know that peace isn't something you chase, it's something you choose.
