We made a pilot for a serie cabinets made of chipwood. This model is a simple shelves construction. Our next prototype contains several large drawers and doors at the topshelves to close them off.

Commissioned by Leiden International Film Festival (LIFF) we decorated the entrance of Trianon cinema in Leiden, the Netherlands. 

By using glossy fabric we masked the fractured plaster of ceiling and walls and we made a big cinema sign above the entrance.

In collaboration with Jaap van Ulden we made a conference table for a company in Koudekerk, the Netherlands with two oak beams and green glass in the shape of the bark of the wood. The trestlework is made of a iron construction.

In collaboration with Jaap van Ulden we designed and realized a hall cabinet. It contains six big drawers painted transparently matt on the inside so the oak veneer is kept it's natural look. On the outside we used a oak wooden beam veneer on 18mm MDF painted ochreous/yellow.

We participated in a graphic illustration project in Leiden named The Biggest Draw and made it to the local newspaper! Children could join making the biggest drawing on a big shopping street in Leiden with colored chalk. I made a big snake with only coloring the outer space and let the kids give their chalk-interpretation to the snake itself.

In collaboration with Jaap van Ulden we made a large table to use in our studio. It’s made out of old redwood floorbeams from a historical building in Leiden, the Netherlands. We filled the slots with cast polyester.

The trestlework is made of metal. The table is nearly finished.

The organization of Picknick festival asked me to create a tent for the performing artists. I wanted to make a big canopy without side walls or screens. The inner poles can be placed everywhere within the canvas holding a wok pan to keep the fabric from tearing.

In collaboration with Sanne Fennema, Jelle Verheijen and Vincent Muller we built a pop-up cafe in a monumental industrial building. The pop-up bar named 'Toverkoffie' lasted only one weekend during Leidens open monuments weekend.

We made a hanging bar of almost eight meters with the wood which was used to close off the big windows and green straps. We copied the same construction to create a few barhight tables.

For Summerjazz Festival 2014 in Leiden, the Netherlands i created a stage with a small amount of money. The stage, located in between the two main stages, had a cultural line-up with theatre, stand-up comedy, singer song writers and dj's. Because of the small budget i used two antique firetrucks and a old army tent as a roof. The wooden floor could be used as stage in case of cultural acts and stand-up comedy and later as a dance floor with the dj acts.

The NOS, initiators of dutch journalism award show named De Tegel, asked me to make a moving line of text which should draw peoples attention and encourage them to use the specific hashtag on Twitter.

I decide to make a Daft Punk kind of space/motorhelmet with a lot of light.

Prior to the show a tall guy worn the helmet when he was walking on The Hagues Grote Markt. During the show the helmet was part of the decor on stage in the Royal Theatre in The Hague.

As an assignment i made this vinyl record case. Now I'm doubting about making more of them for sale.

I was asked to make a point for the sale of coins at the BREE66 club night in Leiden, the Netherlands. Only at time of getting the assignment it was only one day until the party. The organization accepted my price and my demand for artistic freedom. 

I made a sidetable lamp out of some oak wooden boards which were leftover from the herringbone floor of the client. 

I tried to give a new function to the boards and not change to much about them.

Result is a layered point of light completely from oak and a happy client.

Assigned by the organization of REVALIDATIE i made this 900X2100mm lighted sign of their logo. All was drawn and sawn by hand. They used it for a club night last month in Westerunie, Amsterdam.

Via an assignment commissioned by NOS (dutch news) i was asked to design a modular stage staircase for the Dutch Royal Theatre in The Hague. The stairs are about to be used for different kinds of shows and events in the theatre. 

The framework is made out of aluminum square pipes with a oak wooden stairs inlay. The complete object is going to be painted matt black.

The drawing shows only half of the complete stairs.

At this moment the overall design is finished and we're waiting for approval by the Royal Theatre.

Buitengewoon’ organisation asked me to create two light boxes with their logo. They used it for a MyHouse party where Buitengewoon was hosting one of the two stages.

Commissioned by the new owners of 'Van Bourgogne', a culinary restaurant in Leiden, the Netherlands was a bar in the top floor of the restaurant.
