If you introduced this guy to the concept of yumeshipping and what you can do with it? Oh man. He would ABSOLUTELY be in love with it.

Making pins to customize your bag with? Sewing your own plushies? Creating art or anything else with your own hands? That’s definitely something up his alley!

I mean what a concept! This is something new for him and he is so glad that you told him about it.

He would indulge himself with joining you in these sorts of activities because whatever will make you happy will make him happy.

Well. Hm. That would be unless if some of those things are considered to be “unhealthy” or harmful for your health. Then he would probably try directing you towards something else you can do.

Like if he finds a specific activity eating away at your sleep? Oh no that certainly won’t do! His dear needs some shut eye - especially since he knows that humans require more sleep than monsters do.

But try not to be too obsessed with your f/o or f/o’s…he might get jealous.

If it’s just for fun with no real romantic feelings or if it’s platonic? Great! That works well for him.

If there are actual real romantic feelings towards your f/o(s)? Well. We can be grateful that they’re fictional here.

We all know what Pierrot is capable of and what Neko has answered towards an MC having romantic feelings towards someone else after all. It is on sight with them.

If Pierrot himself was a yumeshipper? In the context of it being romantic, his sharing status would be void-sharing/non-sharing.

He would want a shrine of his f/o(s) but because of how the circus travels, and because of Harlequin, he would only have a few custom made items and plushies (either store brought or from online using the money he saved up).

I can see him constantly daydream about his f/o(s) and wanting to maybe write about them but he keeps those thoughts to himself. Instead, he makes DIY crafts based off them.

Harlequin would tease him by saying something like “your yumeship will never become canon.”

They fight afterwards. It gives Jester and Ticket Taker the biggest headache.

Harlequin

If you introduced him to yumeshipping…? Yeah. You’re getting teased so much by him here.

I say “tease” because while he would be a little confused here, the concept isn’t completely unheard of or unique to him. In the past, he witnessed some of the patrons/guests at the circus talk about these sorts of things.

It depends on how close you are with him, but he wouldn’t mind joining in with some of your yume activities.

Keyword: some. There are things that are either just not his forte or he would mess them up extremely.

For example, take the concept of you baking or cooking your f/o(s) favorite foods or creating dishes based off them. We all know that Harlequin burned the kitchen down one time and has messed with Pierrot’s cooking so we can’t completely trust him with this. Keep an eye on this guy so that way he doesn’t sneak a chili pepper or two while you’re trying to make something sweet as one of his little pranks.

Or…Shoo him out until you’re done and maybe you can share what you made with him if he still hasn’t left your place!

His jealousy wouldn’t be as bad as Pierrot’s, but again, it would depend on how close you are with him. He can and will get jealous.

If Harlequin was a yumeshipper, it would lean towards being romantic in nature and his sharing status would be non-sharing/perhaps selective sharing if MC gets him to be chill with Pierrot if they happen to share the same yume(s)…

But we need Pierrot to be chill with Harlequin at the same time here for this to work. Otherwise, if they have the same yume(s), it would not work well. We have already seen what happens with MC in the game - what makes one think that they would be comfortable sharing a fictional other?

What type of content would he create? Well. You know it’s going to be shameless smut.

Do not introduce Harlequin to that specific side of Tumblr, Ao3, or Wattpad. We would all be doomed if he ever became a fanfic writer and publicly shared his fanfics. The internet isn’t ready for Harlequin.

Anyway. Harlequin would create shameless smut or think about it if he can’t sit down and do it - and he would indulge in similar craft-like activities similar to Pierrot. He would make paper dolls of him and his yume(s)!

And maybe, to either vent out his frustrations or some of his other emotions, he would quietly indulge in some angst or something softer like fluff.

But that’s something you would never catch him doing.

And you would never catch him publicly yumeshipping. That’s behind closed doors.

Jester

He already knows what yumeshipping is before you go on to explain it to him.

And you don’t need to explain anymore. He’s heard enough. What are you still doing here?

But the concept itself? What does he think about it personally?

Well. It’s “interesting” how humans came up with such a concept. Getting attached to fictional characters in a romantic or platonic way. Creating or doing things just for them. Thinking so much about them. Having it affect the way you behave or leave an impact or mark on your life…

It depends on how close you are with him, but no matter what, there is going to be some form of judgement here.

If he’s not close with you, then no. He would not indulge in your yume activities. Go to Pierrot or someone else for that. He’s busy and doesn’t have time to entertain you.

If you are close with him? Hmm…then that “no” turns into a “maybe.” He would still set boundaries regardless.

It’s different though if it’s someone from his makeshift family - only then will he try to indulge in their yume activities or at least be more supportive if he can’t do them too.

Everyone in his makeshift family has their own talents, after all. He has his. He wants to make them happy, but he will get concerned if he finds some of these activities to be harmful towards their health or has any risks involved.

He acts accordingly if it does. For either the ones in his makeshift family or for you if you’re close with him.

He wouldn’t be a yumeshipper himself.

Sure, he might have some favorite fictional characters from the books he reads, but he doesn’t form that sort of attachment to them either platonically or romantically.

If he does want to form a platonic or romantic attachment, he would rather do it with someone who’s not a fictional character.

But if he could be a yumeshipper…? His sharing status would be non-sharing. There is no room for argument here to change his sharing status.

He would write fanfic. Very good fanfic in fact. Some people would be disturbed or concerned after reading the contents of specific fics but he would have perfect grammar and punctuality. He’s his own beta reader if he didn’t offer that role to Ticket Taker already.

Ticket Taker

He already knows what yumeshipping is too. Maybe he doesn’t know every label, but he knows a decent amount.

Can you explain it more to him? Well. Hm. That depends on what exactly you want to share and if he’s busy or not with his work.

If he’s on the clock, and you’re trying to explain some of the things/labels associated with yumeshipping, he will politely tell you that he has to attend to his duties.

If you bother him again while he’s still on the clock? He’ll tell you again that he’s busy…do not disturb him.

Bother him again for a third time? Well. You’re being rather troublesome, aren’t you? Either get out of his sight and bother someone else or you will face some consequences. To put it lightly.

If he’s not on the clock? It depends on how close you are with him! He’ll hear you out and everything, but he won’t indulge in your yume activities.

That is…unless if it’s beneficial for the circus. Maybe he can find some “use” for you if you can tell him a little more about these yume activities.

He would pitch this idea to Jester afterwards no doubt about it. The circus can make some bank here or they can use it for something else.

He wouldn’t be surprised if Pierrot turned out to be a yumeshipper. If it was Jester though, then yeah. He would be caught off guard.

He wouldn’t be a yumeshipper either. Unfortunately.

But…if he was one…his sharing status would be non-sharing unless if there were certain variables involved. If you were extremely close to him and yumed the same character(s), perhaps he could change his status to selective-sharing.

He makes playlists and such for his yume(s), making sure he categorizes them by genre, artist, etc. across different platforms/apps. He has multiple playlists over on his pirated version of Spotify. (Ticket Taker doesn’t want to pay for ads, and while it would be considered “unethical” to pirate, it saves time and money. The circus has a budget after all. And yes, of course everyone has their own pirated version of Spotify too. Pierrot almost got his phone hacked though so he needed a little help from him. They all used to have a shared playlist + account together, but Harlequin wouldn’t stop putting the worst type of music on shuffle or make the most atrocious remixes just to mess with everyone’s ears. As a result, everyone has their own separate playlists and accounts).

Would he allow the average person to listen to them? No. Absolutely not. He is a private yumeshipper like Harlequin.

He will change his mind if Jester wanted to listen to them.

And he’ll change his mind if he’s close with you. Make sure you don’t leak them to the public though. That’s going to break his trust. You want to keep his trust, don’t you?

Doctor

Yumeshipping? What’s that? Could you explain what the concept is to him, perhaps?

Hmm…so that’s what it is. He believes he’s heard something like that from somewhere.

Psychology isn’t his thing, but he’s more interested in the practicality behind it. What purpose does “yumeshipping” bring to you, romantically, platonically, or in both ways? How does this affect his tasty patient’s health?

You can definitely tell him everything you do with your yumeship(s). From what your sharing status is because it’s what makes you comfortable to what activities you decide to participate in. He’s your doctor after all. Feel free to share what’s important to you.

He’ll listen carefully to you, observe your behaviors, or analyze how your body reacts when you start to talk about your yumeship(s) or when he feels like you’re thinking about it/them.

Maybe this can be a new experiment for him…he finds this concept fascinating coming from you.

Would he indulge in your yume activities? No, but he would study you doing them. Then, if he feels like it would be better for his experiment, he would ask you questions either during the process, after you’re done with whatever it is that you’re doing, or ask you when you’re free to talk to him.

He’s more of an observer here. Doctor might find some interest in wanting to do some of your yume activities, but he doesn’t want to ruin his experiment.

He wouldn’t get shocked either if Pierrot turned out to be a yumeshipper. In fact, nobody in the circus would. Jester or Ticket Taker would be the most surprising out of all of them if that wasn’t already clear enough before.

After Pierrot, he would be a yumeshipper too. He wouldn’t have to be only a romantic yumeshipper though - he would lean towards being a platonic one. Maybe he could have multiple yumes at the same time if he desired.

His sharing status, unlike the others, would vary a lot here. He could be non-sharing, sure, but he could also be selective-sharing if you or someone from his makeshift family yumed the same fictional character(s). Maybe he could be hypersharing. Who knows?

For his yume activities, he gets plants based off his f/o(s) favorites or what they would probably like - but he would want it to be as “close” to the canon as possible. He also collects plushies just like Pierrot!!

Maybe he can pull a Frankenstein and use some of his dolls to make something based off his yumes who knows.

We would all be doomed if he ever did that. Jester tells him that he needs to keep that in his tent. Doctor understands and agrees with this.

He’s also private when it comes to yumeshipping - for the most part that is. If you found out about it, he won’t shy away from it. He won’t shy away from his makeshift family either. They’ll get a little surprised maybe but it’s all chill. At least it doesn’t start a fight unlike two certain clowns in the circus.
