What I'm trying to figure out, is what kinds of deserts do I assign them? I originally had the idea that, at least for the first three, they'd be types of brownies, a basic one with white chocolate chips for Nico, a blondie for Annabeth, and a red velvet one for Rachel. But that's kinda boring having all of them be brownies and where would that leave Ethan?

Years went by, yet their aging only slowed.

How are things different? How have they stayed? How much can fate be challenged?

Finding time to reread a book I haven't read since middle school, taking notes, and adjusting things to fit the new canon have been difficult. Plus I'm still job searching, so that's fun. Thankfully, I found a channel on YouTube that does audiobooks of the series, so I'm going to be using those as references from now on.

I've been finishing up the first chapter so hopefully I can have it up in a few days!

Should I have Nico go on the quest to rescue Artemis?

This is something I've been thinking about for a hot minute and I'm curious what you all think is best.

There are a few options so pick which ever you'd like to see more.

1) Nico goes on the quest, the number is bumped to 6 instead of 5, but Nico runs away after Bianca dies

2) Nico replaces Grover on the quest and everything follows suit just now with Nico instead of Grover, Nico still runs away, just before they return to camp

Or 3) Nico stays behind and events play out identically to canon, just with a more capable Bianca who still dies in the desert

Each of these have their pros and cons, like seeing extrovert Nico in a group setting, or seeing more of Bianca being her own character outside of Nico’s dead sister.

Keep in mind that Nico and Bianca’s ages will be changed in the story for plot reasons, obviously.

Now, I’m going to be honest here and say, this one might be a large commitment for me. I've been doing a lot of job searching lately, and while nothing's bitten yet, I'm hopeful.

With that being said, I am going to try and work on it when I can, BUT it's going to take some time, reading through the series, slowly, and figuring out what to change and why, how does this change if this happens, so on and so forth. I have the books at home, but it's been a LONG time since I've actually sat down and read them. I'm talking since I was in middle school, and I'm 26!

I'm not going to rewrite the entire series (probably), just the relevant parts, with some books being rewritten more than others. There's also a lot of plot points Im thinking of changing too, like the stuff with Cupid, but that's a much later decision. As well as my ships, obviously, but again, that isn't until much later.

I want to thank everyone who votes and don't worry, we'll get through every WIP at some point. Hope you all will have patience with me. I'm not sure I can have the first chapter up, but I'll try hard to get it out as soon as possible!
