Anxious Mess.

I feel like there isn't a lot of messaging that encourages people to think of their imagination as like a fun skill and hobby you can cultivate. it's okay to spend a little time every day just thinking goofy stuff up for your own personal enjoyment. and dare I say, it's necessary even. it doesn't have to produce anything but satiate your own curiosity. like, don't feel shame. you can imagine made up animated movies or fantastical board games or missing scenes from a book you like or yourself being interviewed on a talk show where you're effortlessly the coolest person the world has ever seen. it's all allowed and no one has to know about the specifics but also you just...do not have to feel embarrassed or second guess yourself. you don't have to ask yourself "am I weird?" no you're fucking normal and how lovely to have our own thoughts to ourselves. even larks and katydids dream etc etc
