but jonathan sims being canonically asexual and it never being made into an obstacle, him still being in a loving romantic relationship, gave me the courage to explore and be more comfortable in my own identity.

but seeing one of my favorite characters, adrian chase in ‘peacemaker’, have an onscreen conversation about his very clearly aspec identity gave me a sense of euphoria to the point where i was smiling ear to ear while watching it, and the entire night afterwards.

but seeing the widespread acceptance of aroace ryland grace gives me hope that people like me do and can get a happy ending through genuine connection and friendship.
