I just want to give a quick PSA here if I can.

We’re in a new era of sorts as developers appear and make their own Nancy Drew inspired games. These are great but remember to also stay wary if anyone wants donations/Kickstarters.

This is not to say those aren’t legitimate as many are. Last year on Reddit there was a message that was sent out saying that members of an investor group wanted to buy HerInteractive that turned out to a scam.

Right now, there is a thread on Reddit that is asking about the possibility of whether people would donate as an “old crew” considers getting together to make a ND inspired game. That post sparked this PSA so just wanted to put out there and be wary in case anyone is reached out by private message or posts. The new intern Mel even put out a message saying as much as people can prey on nostalgia and the next hiatus.

This isnt me saying this particular post is scam but simply bringing light to a possible situation to be aware of.

Support where you can but always verify to the best of your ability and ask questions.
