Do they even understand and care about their own characters? Do they even remember the character arcs they wrote? Do they even know what they’re putting into shots? Forget subtext, do they understand their actual narrative they wrote for the past four seasons? This finale makes no sense based on anything they put in the show. They don’t understand their characters, nor do they understand emotional payoff, nor do they understood good plot twists, nor do they understand what staying true to your story means. I genuinely don’t even know how we got here.
