“Simone,” Henry says, never answering his question. “She seemed lovely, I’m sorry it didn’t pan out.” Alex’s eyes narrow, “Were you keeping tabs on me, Your Majesty?” “Don’t.” A smirk slides across Alex’s face anyway. “The internet was devastated to lose one of their ‘boyfriends’,” Henry explains pointedly. “Your wedding pictures were everywhere.” “Uh huh,” Alex drones, unconvinced.  “Bea sent some articles.” “She didn’t.” “She did,” Henry emphasizes, cheeks going pink.   Alex basks in flustered Henry for a few more moments before saying, “Henry, I kept up with you too, we’re public figures, it’s okay.” “You two kind of popped out of the public figure circle over the years.” “Not beating the google alert for my name allegations.” “Hush,” Henry groans but he’s laughing too. “I just don’t know how you did it.”
