It's never too late to learn to read Qur'an properly.
So many reverts and lifelong Muslims memorized a few surahs phonetically — repeating sounds without understanding what they read.
The pattern that keeps showing up: people in their 40s finally starting from zero. The alphabet. Basic Tajweed. Real recitation.
A few months of consistency (not intensity) is usually enough to go from zero to reading a new page slowly but correctly.
The real story was never about the learning. It was about the years spent feeling behind.
