Percy doesn’t fear death. In fact, although he would never admit it out loud, he’s kind of looking forward to it. Of course, he wants to live his life, and go to college and start a family with Annabeth. But sometimes, after she’s fallen asleep, he lies awake next to her and thinks about everyone he’s going to get to see again. He thinks of Charlie and Silena and Lee, and oh gods Jason. No, he doesn’t want to die right now, but, he smiles to himself, when he does it won’t be so bad. He doesn’t fear death.
