I am distressed by the lack of Discourse surrounding my least favorite christmas movie plothole, which is that there are too many movies which not only feature but CENTER UPON the concept that santa claus is real but none of the adults believe in him. this is an INHERENTLY FLAWED CONCEPT. where do they think the presents come from??? this is a world in which adults tell children about santa, knowing full well that they are lying, but then presents show up under the tree from santa and they’re fine with it???
