If you’re in Philly, I have a piece up in the Homage group show. Printed by master printer Bob Carnie. A range of gum bichromate and silver gelatin prints. My piece was an homage to #dannylyon and his The Bikeriders series from the 60’s. . . The Halide Project welcomes a traveling exhibition visiting our walls from Connections Gallery in Toronto. Homage features the work of fifteen photographers who are acknowledging the past by referencing artwork from various mediums across the ages. Each artist has joined printer Bob Carnie in his darkroom to produce gum bichromate over palladium and silver gelatin prints. A small group show of selected works by Halide Project Members, juried by Gravy Studio’s Katie Tackman, will also be on view in conjunction with Homage and will travel to Toronto for display during the CONTACT Photo Festival. Featuring: Bob Carnie, Dana Dal Bo, Skip Dean, Alan Dunlop, Bryan Helm, Tjalling Halbertsma, Osheen Harruthoonyan, Len Middleton, Mark McLean, Stephen McNeill, John Migicovsky, Marlene Hilton Moore, Lisa Murzin, Hugues Rochette, and John Wallace with Halide Project Members Ryann Casey, Susan DiPronio, Mira Gohel, Hannah Pitstick, and Gene Renzi. Homage will be on view at The Halide Project by appointment through March 17th. Please join us for the opening reception Thursday, March 7th, from 5-9pm. https://www.instagram.com/bryanhelm/p/BuoKpqDgnka/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=uzxgwwaojxdo
