“they could, but i probably wouldn’t recommend encouraging it.” veronica comments from where she leans against the row of lockers just next to the one katherine has slammed shut. “i think reggie’s? his parents are out of town, so he’s throwing a big bash as per usual. expect lots of whiskey and vodka to be had.” a cant of her head as veronica flips her hair over her shoulder, moving to lead katherine down the hall. “how’re you adjusting to riverdale? it’s an acquired taste for most people.”

He finally has seen the face that has created so much fuss.  Over the years, he has heard of course — the famous Petrova doppelgangers.  He raises an eyebrow as he takes her in, his gaze clinical (as if he is trying to take her apart to see what makes her tick).  “All this…over you?”  he finally muses aloud.  He gives a huff.  “And which version are you, again?  The third?  I can never keep track of how many there have been.”

“Who the hell are you?” Gia asks, although she instinctively recoils.  She can tell already that she will be way out of her league should this turn violent, but she won’t back down.  This is her home now; the vampires of the community are her family — and she will always protect her family.

“It is too bad…” he begins, his lips curling into a smile.  “…that you are no doubt fiercely independent because I see nothing but benefits in working together.”  He can tell already that is a cunning little thing and he appreciates that more than she may realize.

“god —— can those lessons get any more boring?” slamming her locker shut, katherine turned to face the girl behind her. “so, where’s the party tonight? i’m dying to get my mind on anything other than all this homework.”

“don’t act like you’re surprised to see me elijah — you should know by now it’s near impossible to get rid of me.”

    “– If you’re here, who’s guarding the gates to hell?”
