It’s a new year (wow, can you believe it’s 2016?!). One of the best ways to celeb rate is by changing up your look with the season. It is technically winter, even though it seems to be warming up a bit in Southern California. Your skin tone can change during the winter due to spending less time outdoors soaking up the sun. You can change your hair to match your skintone by using one or two shades warmer than your usual (or natural) color. In addition to color, styling your hair differently is also a fun and easy way to change your look. The simple knot at the base of the neck has been seen on many runways recently—and takes no time to do. Bobby pins are the usual go-to fastener, but anything can be used: clip, spin pin, pencil, pen, chopstick, etc. Anything that is straight and can secure your hair is good for the knot.
