Although it seems like it was Juntae who reached out to Sieun for help. In reality, he was helping out Sieun in an equal measure, by pulling him out of the mist his life had become.

For instance, I like how Juntae doesn't expect Sieun to reach out and take anything so he very cutely reaches out and hands him the thing.

He understands that Sieun has built this wall around him and wants to be perceived as "independent" but he sees through it and wants to be there for him. He knows that Sieun is just as lost and needs help too.

When even high dose sleeping pills were failing Sieun, a simple over-the-counter magnesium supplement worked? Maybe it was because the feelings behind it mattered a lot more than the actual thing.

And he understood what Sieun was going through. He gave him space when he needed, but was always at arm's length to pull him out when he was truly lost.

HBO, Craig Mazin, and the rest of the fans? They don’t give a shit that you’re missing out on a fantastic show and performance because you’re too shallow to care about something other than someone’s appearance.

The problem is when you insult a someone’s appearance online. It’s cruel and objectifying, and it’s even worse when it’s someone who isn’t even old enough to drink in the USA.

You genuinely forgot that they’re a real human being with feelings and a life, and that they don’t exist to cater to you. That says a lot about you as a person.

Being awful towards Bella doesn’t make you special or opinionated. It doesn’t make you a bigger fan of the games. It doesn’t make you seem smart or cool or edgy. It just makes you seem like what you are: an asshole.

In the game you are forced to play as Abby. You go back in time and live life with her and build a sense of understanding and empathy for her. And while they could do this in the show it’s not going to have the same impact if the sequence of time is done in the same way. That understanding and empathy just isn’t going to come for a lot of viewers in the way it comes across in the game.

Because of this I think that Season 2’s opening shot should be a single frame shot at the hospital just after Joel takes Ellie away. I think it should show the carnage from a behind the shoulder view of a young Abby, as she discovers what happened and eventually comes across the body of her father. I don’t think we should see her face but we should hear her screams and grief as she lays over her fathers body. And then it should cut immediately to the title sequence. After that it should go back to Ellie and Joel in the “current” timeline showing the tension between them and the hardness.
