Murder mystery is a category that lies in mystery/thriller/suspense genre. They talk about solving a murder. I read a book a while ago called Hide your eyes by Alison Gaylin that was a murder mystery. It was a very interesting read. It was about continuos murders and one clue lead to another until the murder was discovered. 

When writing a persuasive essay I must remember to not being up the pros in the other side’s argument. I must repeat my point again and agin for the reader not to forget the point of my essay or the argument. I can use some helpful persuasive methods like repetition, asking rhetorical questions and exaggeration. Before I write my essay I must remember to plan, for it will be easier to write when I have my ideas laid out in front of me.

The article comes form a reliable source, CNN. And why would CNN lie about an interview the president of the US gave? The article gave direct quotes from the president. The article was also published form within the White House. This article is running in various political blogs. This article was published on 19 January 2014 and was posted by CNN White House Producer Kevin Liptak.

Shopping online is the most convenient way of shopping. You can do it whenever you want wherever you are. You have the choice of choosing form various of options. You also have the option for it to be delivered right at your doorstep. No effort needed. Shopping online is usually fast and effective. You can get a product shipped all the way from the states to Singapore. You can shop for food, books, electronics, beauty products, clothes, shoes, accessories, furniture, jewelry and even gym equipment. Shopping online, the future of tomorrow! 

As an Emarati I get a right to an Education. I have a right to cheaper essential supplies like water, oil and rice. As an Abu Dhabian citizen I have a right to health insurance. I also have the right to a shelter. Every Emarati family has a right to have someplace to call home.

While research-ing for the project we are currently working on I valued the right to a basic education, which is a right not found everywhere. To ensure this right the UAE offers a free education for primary grades in public schools. I learned that the UAE is keen on the rights of women. To ensure this right the UAE offers an equal opportunity for men and women when it comes to jobs, and education. Also, the UAE has a great housing program working on providing houses and shelters for every local family. 

The structure of this text is separated into organized paragraphs that speak of complete main ideas. The title tells us what we’ll be reading about. The structure of the paragraphs makes it easy to read and understand. The organization of the main ideas inform us about who Tutu is, his achievements, his background and his association with Mandela regarding Human Rights. The first paragraph is effective because it tells us more about the person we’ll be reading about and who he is and why he is important if we didn’t know before. The information is descriptive. The order of the information helped me built an image in my head of Tutu and his importance in history. The last sentence tells me  about Tutu’s current goals and what he is contributing to our society. 

Ten things I can’t wait to do over winter break. 1- Travel. 2- Shop. 3- Sleep till whenever. 4- Watch series for hours. 5- Hangout with my family. 6- Read. 7- Have fun. 8- Make memories. 9- Sleepovers. 10- Do something productive.

Something that makes me smile

One human right I truly believe is significant is freedom of expression. Under freedom of expression comes various rights I believe in, but I will write of two interwind freedoms which are Freedom of Speech and Press. I believe every person has a right to express their opinion without restriction. That doesn’t mean a person can go on talking carelessly. Each person has a brain that can identify what’s right and correct. Every single person should be able to hear and question. People who stick to their opinion and refuse to listen to anything else are what I call ignorant. A wise person known as Voltaire once said “I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.” Freedom of speech is the freedom to persuade, to argue, to disagree, to speak. In order for that person to speak freely the person must have the right of press. You must have the right to spread to the next continent what you want to say. To be able to say it without limitations. To speak and to spread.

I'm passionate about reading. I enjoy reading very much and it makes me feel better on a lonely day. There is no better feeling than reading about someone who is feeling the same exact emotion as I am. It is important to have something to be passionate about because it makes you who you are, it builds your personality. As cheesy as this sounds my role models would probably be my parents. I love them both so much and I think they're passionate about building our base towards a prosperous future. I know because I see them try so hard to give us the best they can.

Most of the time my classmates argue their unchanged opinion in class and in tumblr. I've noticed that the class discussions alter some of my classmates' opinions and so their tumblr post might be different. Also, the tumblr post could have more evidence and will back up the original idea since you have time to think about it and come up with a great response. The point seems more valid in tumblr posts. I don't like that not everyone contributes to the group effort when working in groups but I like having to work with others who are helpful and together we come up with a great idea. I think I could improve my work by not wasting time and talking about things off topic. I liked about my group that everyone contributed and we have fun rehearsing and recording the play.

In discussions you hear opinions, different opinions. Some which you've never heard before. I always have an opinion. In fact part of which makes me me is that I'm opinionated. I have something to say about most topic most of the time. I love hearing what others have to say, too. Discussions usually shape my opinions. One changed opinion of mine is how Justice is not equality. I love the picture posted and reposted by many students that shows three people of different heights trying to see a baseball game over the fence. Each person stands on one box since it's only fair, but it's not equal because why should the tall person stand on a box when he can see without it. In that same picture there is a comparison of what equality means. It shows the tall person standing on the ground while the shortest of the three stand on two boxes to be able to see. I thought being just is being equal, but it's not the same. Equality and justice are not directly proportional. You can always be just but not be equal and vice versa. I've participated in many collaborative discussions in class and in tumblr. I've expressed by ideas persuasively and managed to get people to agree with my opinion. For example, when I talked to my class about how typing in shortcuts while using social media has corroded many people's English almost everyone agreed with me. Yet, in other discussion I argued that social media doesn't have negative impacts. Social media doesn't talk to itself and says "well today I'm going to hack her account." It is used as a weapon. People with their own free will choose to post ideas, write their opinions, hack others account or even choose to give their passwords to those they don't completely trust. I stood alone with that opinion, yet I managed to make Mahra and Meera agree with me. I've clarified my opinions when I need too by using bold and italics, which is something I cannot do on paper. Also, autocorrect helps me understand my sentences better and helps clarify them. Using tumblr and technology makes the process dynamic for me, because I'm able to hear everyone's different opinions and ideas. I get to hear from people who never speak up in class and that's really awesome since some classmates have some great things to say. My posts at first weren't that great, but then I understood the purpose and idea and started writing better. I'm really proud of what I wrote since I gave my best efforts and I wrote what I believed in.

I'm not a very interesting person. 

An example of justice I would definitely fight for would be the rights of the oppressed. First, let’s get the definition clear. To be oppressed is to be kept in subjection and hardship, especially by the unjust exercise of authority. Oppression can be seen in small and massive aspects in our lives. One example is when two students work on a project together, they both come up with a fabulous outcome, but one student gets an A+ and the other get’s an A-. This is a small act of oppression that happens at times. What bothers and moves me the most about the oppressed is that some don’t stand up for themselves. Not everyone has the strength to say “No, I won’t do this, you can’t make me do it. I function via my own will.” Not everyone is a fighter, not everyone has it in them to stand up for themselves. Globally, those who revolt or fight are often overlooked and are silenced or unjustly killed. Those who stand up for themselves are usually the ones that are admired and looked at for their bravery and courage. Those are the ones who the oppressed look at and hope they'd make a difference because one can only hope. I would fight for the oppressed because I hate the inequality, the favoritism and the cruelty.
