We are something beautiful

If I am broken glass, don’t touch me.  Don’t pity me.  Just watch the light glimmer over my edges and be grateful to witness the beauty of the broken.

I’m not polished.  There are plenty of things that I’m not,  but this is my favorite flaw. Every pair of shoes I own has scuffed toes, and my eyeliner  is perpetually smudged.  I walk fast and smile often.  Why would I trade that for a kind of perfection that demands me to be still?

I just want to be surrounded by so much love in my life. And not just relationships. Love for my job, my home, the stars, the sunsets, the place I live where ever in the world that is. I want to experience love in all forms
