No one at Scotland Yard is put off by Sherlock Holmes. Sure, they all know he's a little weird, but in their field who's not a bit strange? And he's damn good at what he does too, and he's really very nice when you get to know him.

You know who they are terrified of? Watson.

Because Holmes had found himself a flatmate, and everyone was prepared for the certain level of strangeness that must accompany anyone rooming with one Sherlock Holmes. But Watson is deceptively ordinary, and that's where the fear starts.

Because this man is a civilian, a doctor, he wears knit jumpers for god's sake, and he should be the everyman presence at the Yard. But any officer can tell you that Watson is the one you need to watch out for, because Watson will shoot a man at point blank range for looking at Holmes wrong, and then have a cup of tea about it afterwards and look at you like you're the crazy one. Watson once tackled a serial killer for no reason other than the fact that he could and no one had told him not to. Watson, early on in his whatever-he-has with Holmes, had arrived at an absolutely gruesome double murder and not batted an eye.

The mystery was off, we were practically handed everything in the first half and in the second half there was nothing. It was too fast pasted the characters actions were weird. There were aspects I loved but this is strictly a rant about what I didn’t like. Moriarty did not have as much depth as she did in the last movie. They only barely touch the idea of yes the Holmes family’s are rich nobles! They might have a stain family history! The idea of white family’s wrongdoings is such a major plot in this movie but it’s never delved into so it can focus more on the relationship. Which by the way they had the worst chemistry in this movie then the others especially at the end the scene before they swim and they undress slightly? Hard watch. I liked their cute scenes and I do think they’re cute but a wedding? After one year? Why??? Also why do they need to be married to be together, that would have been an ending that made more sense. Enola wanting to marry him is in character I loved her dilemma in the beginning but it’s never resolved properly. Also why didn’t Sherlock walk her down the aisle? This movie felt like they were trying to develop their relationship as siblings more but it felt like we are right where we started, the whole Sherlock this isn’t you moment just felt like a hard watch and Enola has a fucking date instead of devoting ever moment to finding two people WHO SHE SUPPOSEDLY CARES ABOUT BECAUSE SHE CARES AND IS EMOTIONALLL(the whole emotional callbacks is so annoying) ALSO SHERLOCKS RIGHT MORIARTY WILL NEVER LEAVE THEM ALONE BECAUSE SHES SMART SHE WILL ESCAPE THAT LITERALLY THE ENTIRE PLOT OF THE ORIGINAL STORY. It would have been so much more satisfying if Moriarty just wasn’t in this film and instead saved her for a fourth movie instead of doing a time skip let’s see Sherlock go through development and character arc throughout the entire movie with Watson and Enola while solving the case instead of just have two minutes scenes of ‘I care about you and am learning to feel again your my precious sister!’ And then completely ignoring it in the next film over and over again.

We also don’t get any resolution for other characters that was satisfying. Lady Tewksbury was my favorite character she deserved better from the people around her they could have had a reunion scene with her son the silent seconds after she knocks out moriarty made me sick. Watson? The only character besides lady Tewksbury I actually cared about. Not because he had screen time and was given a chance to develop a relationship with the audience nooo because I wanted to care about him because I am a fan of Sherlock Holmes (and Johnlock but that’s not relevant) I wanted to see more of him, to get attached, to see the close relationship he has with Sherlock which first of all Enola giving tewkfuck some tea had to been implying something about the relationship between the two men, but we don’t see anything John Watson Sherlock Holmes closet friend and the most important person in his life, had basically no scenes with. I can’t think of one because there is none except the flashback. Moriarty had so much potential and it was thrown away.

And the costumes. You don’t have to be completely accurate to make a good film. But atleast try because if it’s that bad it just takes viewers out of the experience I wasn’t able to watch Enola 3 without having the thought ‘Millie Bobbie brown’ plays her. The setting of the movie changes the tone but it was Enola wardrobe and wig and makeup that broke the illusion and something about temus face felt off. Everyone else looked somewhat accurate which was also really funny to me watching the first couple of minutes with the first wedding dress Enola talking to her coachman was insane. This movie was the worst in the trilogy plot wise and just overall execution.

Personally I don’t think he’s all that. He’s whatever and some scene his face was just insufferable to look at and all people care about is him. He added barely anything to the plot nothing now because he’s not a lord anymore he’s given up the power he has to fix the corrupt system hes been fixing something that was relevant for the whole white savior retoric so it’s insane they got rid of it because it was the only thinking keeping him important beside being a ‘boywife’ to be be progressive.

Yes, because "fair" is taking 150 points for simply being in the castle after curfew.
