If Halsin isn't autistic why does he get accused of arguing with/trying to impose his will on the player when he's just explaining his thought process, huh? Why does he get overstimulated by the city and admit such, huh? Why does he need reminders to understand nuance instead of falling into black and white thinking, huh? Why does he let jokes made at his expense go completely over his head while still calling the person who made them his friend, huh? Why does he get uncomfortable with metaphors like "I'm all ears", huh? Why does he speak in an overly formal way, huh? Why is his favorite humor puns and dad jokes, huh? Why does he have a special interest in the form of nature and animals? Why does he get accused of flirting when he didn't realize he was doing so? Why do other companions at camp say he is boring? Why has he sadly resided himself to being judged in ways that are unfair (his size) while not seeming able or willing to advocate for himself and specifically saying he feels others see him as without feelings? Why does he have such a strong sense of justice/fairness? Why does he have a code of ethics (natural/unnatural) that is perfectly internally consistent for him yet others are confused by? Why does he take phrases like "you can say that again" literally? Why does he show signs of burnout in act 3? Why is he so rigid in his moral code that he sees no qualms of joining the player in Baldur's Gate- where he's miserable- over the healing Shadow-Cursed Lands just to honor a promise he made weeks ago? Why is he so good at compartmentalizing emotions that you can tell him you killed all the Druids (just not the Tieflings too) and then he'll finish your fight together and then go off on his own to mourn? Why does he struggle to show emotions like sadness in front of others but not happiness? Why does he get accused of talking about the same thing too much by Wyll and Karlach? Why does he relate everything to his special interest? Why does he walk so awkwardly? Why does he love animals so much? Why does he get along so well with kids and understand them so well? Why is he so soothed by being in the quiet of nature? Wh
