on august thirteenth, [begin a new revelation] and join the residents of hell for an apocalypse story, but an apocalypse for only one of its players. meet four horsemen who are not horsemen but who instead surround the throne of god, witness seven plagues both matching the visions of john of patmos and not matching them. meet the whore, the beast, and the false prophet, none of whom are who they are presumed to be, and see images of untrue angels and twisted gardens and dead dragons. navigate between warring hosts, descend the circles of hell, climb the terraces of purgatory, and greet with disdain the impious cherub who, for the second time, began a tragedy beyond his ability to comprehend.

[holiest] is founded on the idea of likening a severe mental breakdown to an apocalypse, and it is heavily based upon the hell of dante, the characters of milton, and a bastardized interpretation of the ‘revelation of john.’ 

at its core, it is a mental illness story. it is a psychological apocalypse.

[holiest] is told in nine parts, beginning on 8.13.19 and updating bi-weekly, with a brief lull between each major part. the update schedule is subject to change based upon interest and/or life events.
