Empty, naked, confused

It's Monday. I saw an old friend. That could have been more... in the past, though we never went that route.. I left after speaking with him.. empty.. I am in love with the thought of love... yet I lost myself... and I loved myself less for not setting boundaries with my ex after our break up. I begged him to not leave.. shouldn't have.. and now.. I'm just being.. not missing or needing anything or anyone. I want to cry though I'm not sure why.. I want to yell.. yet no one will hear me.. I want love to cross my path yet I know I need to push it away.

Lately I have been working, literally non stop because of set goals I have made for myself. Well this evening my "restaurant parents" came to eat. I wasn't there server but I still made my way to speak to them. While we spoke about life and they asked me about my plans, he gave me money folded up and said that what he was giving me was a blessing. An extra 200 towards what I needed for my next goal. This couple gave it forward to me and not only do I appreciate them and what they did, but I appreciate there kindness for thinking of me even without the monetary gift.
