welcome to my kitchen

i feel so much better about myself and my life thinking about my poor mental health as having a weaker immune system than some do. there are things that push me over the edge that lots of people wouldn’t be especially bothered about, but that doesn’t mean that i’m like... broken or doomed. figuring out what type of support i need and what external factors to avoid helps. just like taking antihistamines and washing my hair after being outside in the spring helps to battle my allergies. i can have a good life. it’s going to be different in some aspects than my peers but that’s ok. it is what it is, but it can be just as good.
