Awhile ago I asked for sonamy headcanons (and Iโm always hungry for more!) and I received the most beautiful headcanon from @hedgethemaze and I just had to illustrate it!

Look in a dictionary for the definition of โdream come trueโ, I swear, your comic would be the foremost example. You putting images and color to my words is the highest compliment I could've possibly received. I'm blown away!
The effort and care you put into these mean so much and itโs appreciated beyond imagining, friend.
The one thing you added to the dialogues, the story of the tiara, swelled my heart with warmth and joy because it reflected what may be common knowledge by now, amongst us Sonamy fansโฆand thatโs your understanding of these charactersโ core values (in this case, Amy). While, I didnโt give details on any particular tale sheโd come up with, you saw it clearly โ of course it would be a story about love and determination. Thatโs Amyโs character to a tee. I love that you added that, and I thank you๐คโ
My heart goes out to Sonic in every panel he looks distressed and glum - adding that glimpse to their exchange in Kronos Island, was a satisfying punch in the gut, a bittersweet touch. Thanks for that, too ;)
That one panel of them, both smiling at the sky, after Amy returns his hand hold, their faces express so much right there, without saying a thing โ thatโs something I never get tired of seeing, Sonic is comfortable in accompanied silence and Amy wastes no time meeting him there with nothing but affection. Sheโs Sonicโs granted wish after all.
Lovely shooting star, btw. Feels like it could leap out of the page!๐คฉ
Look, I know youโre basically an expert at drawing Amy in the most gorgeous, endearing, radiant way possible but, to be honest? She looks โheart-stoppingly beautifulโ in these images! What makes me say this is her body language more than anything else๐ฅฐ
Just look at the way she curls against him, with the entire length of her arm draped across his chest and grabbing at his shoulder. She hides none of her adoration at being by his side!๐ญโ๐
By the look on Sonicโs face (that expression is priceless, btw), Iโd say sheโs holding on to him like her life depended on it, and her expression shows nothing but delight at the fact that thereโs literally no space left between them โ a character trait I couldnโt possibly love more about Amy๐ And Sonic just lets her be! Although, who are we kidding? He likes to feel it as much as we like to see it ๐ Character portrayal at its finest, for both of them.

The way you depicted this line has me kicking my feet, grinning like an idiot. Feels like magic to see something I thought up in my head put into an image so perfectly โ Oh, the awkwardness! Scratching the cheek/neck when nervous is so personal to me, thank you so much for nailing that, I love itโ๐
Btw, I canโt take my eyes away from Amyโs face on that last page โ happiness and being in love are the best look on her and youโre impossibly good at drawing that.
Emotions are supposed to be abstract concepts, how are you THIS GOOD at giving them form?!๐คฏ Please, never stop doing that๐
Speaking of the last page, it takes my breath away every time I look at it. It warms my heart to see Sonic take that deep breath (you can see how at peace he feels having Amy so close to him). The woeful memory of Starfall tossed away and forgotten as he snuggles closer to his lucky star.
Add to the countless details I love about this story...the way youโve drawn it, I mean...how the last panel at the end of the comic mirrors the beginning of it, with a panoramic view of them laying on the grass. A beautiful touch!๐๐
And I wouldnโt be able to see any of that, other than in my mind's eye, if it werenโt for your wonderful art ๐ Thank you SO much, @e-vay.
Consider this long-winded reply a love letter to your comic (believe it or not, I struggle taking credit for any of this, as if Iโm yet to wake up from a dream or something lol), like lots of my writing, I may have gone a tad overboard putting my thoughts and emotion into words...nevertheless, all of it is no doubt sincere.
