People comparing the Blarkes pain to Clexa’s just really ain’t it. Lexa helped a lot of young queer women realize and come to terms with their sexuality. Lexa helped give representation to a group of young people that, before that time, had never really seen themselves on TV. It gave people hope and inspired them. It gave them an outlet when they had nothing else to turn to. It gave them community to find solice in. So when that was ripped away, it was devastating. People were getting cyber bullied on top of that too, it was such a dark time that the fandom had to rally together for the people who were relapsing and needing crisis and/or suicide hotlines. I get that it sucks that B*llamy died, because I know that was a lot of people’s favorite character. And even though I make jokes, I feel your pain, I do. But we told you to leave forever ago, and you refused to stand with us against homophobia. It is solely the Blarke fandom that got that show renewed. You’re lying in the grave you dug yourselves, so forgive us for not feeling any sympathy towards the situation, or not feeling any sense of responsibility to jump back into a toxic show to help you out. At this point, we cannot help you. We all jumped ship seasons ago. It’s time everyone else does the same. I’m tired of WLW fandoms getting blamed for everything even 4 years later. This has nothing to do with us, honestly. Just let us make our jokes in our own tag, cause quite frankly it feels like closure after years of mistreatment from B*llamy stans.
