Rosita’s a hugger, and Hector’s a sucker for affection, so naturally this was bound to happen. 😁

Since Lee Unkrich has stated that Oscar and Felipe “passed away at the same time,” many have speculated that they either died of a shared illness or in a train wreck.  I already drew the illness theory a while back, and since I’m still a sucker for angst, I present to you my take on the train wreck theory. You may notice that in both scenarios, the twins do not die at exactly the same time. Again, sucker for angst here. :p

Great pose, and Imelda’s expression as she continues to sing despite the situation is perfect. Also, what’s up with that candle on the left side of the step, third from the bottom? I only just noticed when I uploaded it here that it’s not glowing like all the others.

So much love and happiness in this scene 😊 To quote my brother: “This movie tugs at all the heartstrings!”

I wanted their dialogue to be in Spanish as that’s their native language, so @moon-calvary translated it for me.  Ceci: “My God, I’ve lost count of how many dresses Héctor has borrowed and lost!”  Chich: “Consider yourself lucky. He never asked to borrow your femur!”
