「私が来た!」– There were particular advantages to coming from somewhere where everyone was so diverse - one tended not to be too phased by the oddities of others they met. Thinking that others looked strange was hardly in retired Pro's repertoire anymore. Quirks could take all form and shapes so when it came to people out of the norm in the Isles, over his very few days there thus far... he had found it quite easy to adjust.

A small rustling and a flicker out of the corner of his eye had caught his attention as he took a meandering path through a lush park. The walking trail was thin, covered in overgrowth. - He had always been observant, that natural observance only honed even more by some four decades of hero work.

Toshinori paused, glancing into the bushes.

Slowly, he crouched down. His voice was soft. It may we be an animal but some small intuition told him otherwise. "Pardon me... do you need some help?"

ALAS : SHE WAS CAUGHT instead ! with her wings flapping a thousand beats per second , struggling against the vine that had so miraculously gotten pinned beneath a nearby rock inside the brush . RUSTLE OF LEAVES AND UNDERGROWTH . soon enough , the bushes rattled , and clumps of snow rained down from above , plopping right on top of fawn and drenching her wings in cold , damp WET .

Despite how abundant blue jays are, they refuse to give me a clear view anymore. 😩

Though he did find it curious her method of floating. Those wings did not appear to be suited well enough for such levitation. Whatever she had on her wings was likely the source of her flight, but it was not a substance he was familiar with.

He was lost in his train of thought when he had to stop suddenly as she appeared right in front of his line of sight upside down. His ears flattened ever so slightly as he stared at her.

❝ Loki. ❞ he answered the creature, Fawn. ❝ I suppose you could consider my typical presence inside a 'house'. ❞ Indeed he had grown up within the wall of a palace. The outdoors was not unfamiliar, though not always preferred. Books tended to get ruined when exposed to the elements. But she did not seem to him to understand that concept.

FAWN FLIPPED HERSELF right - side up and elected to follow where ever this loki decided to prowl .

❛ pshaw — these ol' things? they're not so bad . ❜ said wings fluttered a little faster . their glow was mirrored against the dinged cyan metal of dumpster canisters and the sleek white stone of arcanus architecture . ❛ i mean , obviously , it helps to be careful ! fairy wings are pretty fragile —  kind of like dragonfly wings , actually ! but as long as it's not a rainy day , there's not TOO MUCH to worry about . ❜ it definitely helped that her pixie dust had miraculously shown up . it was as if she wished REALLY , REALLY hard , and her wish had come true ! ( and what a handy wish indeed ! ) speaking of being handy—

This nightmare that he had over and over again, that he could never escape from. The monsters he could hand. He could have the courage to protect someone else. But he didn't have that for himself. Every day that passed, he was faced with cowardice and anxiety racing through his body. His stomach churned with sickness as he longed for things that he couldn't have.

There he sat in the street, curled up and hiding as best as he could between two barrels. His courage was failing - there was nothing to be positive about now. And yet he felt something strange on his hand ( which he thought was a bug at first ) but then recognized the voice.

He looked up, his eyes a little red and bruised and the fur on his cheeks still damp. But undeniably a light appeared in them as he looked at the familiar face.

" F-...Fawn?? " He rubbed his eyes with his free hand, before opening his palms for her to rest in them. " W-what are you doing down here? Or... up here- I'm... not sure... " he watched her closely but nodded to her question.

SHE LISTENED INTENTLY , bringing her hand to her chin and NODDING with the utmost seriousness to it . ❛ sounds like the three of you have gotten yourself in ONE BIG BIND ! ❜ she said . ❛ but if there's one thing i know from the adventures i've had with the girls : there's NO FRIEND LEFT BEHIND ! ❜ she pressed her hands on the soft side of cucumber's thumb , squeezing tight as though she were giving him a HUGE HUG !

When you awaken, you feel rekindled. As though some small piece of you has assembled itself back together….

You can now use your pixie dust to allow temporary flight to others and allow inanimate objects to float.

Blue light filled Sora's eyes and slowly dissipated in front of him. A stained glass portrait faded into the black as Sora felt himself jerk and awaken inside of a stretched hallway. A sigh escaped him as he stood.

"Did- I just die?..."

Sora brought his hands up to his vision. He stretched his fingers and cracked his knuckles and then looked down at his feet. Still had on his large shoes too, so that's a plus. He tapped the toe of his shoe on the ground a few times before investigating his surroundings.

"Where- am I? Traverse Town?..."

In front of Sora was an endless hotel-esque hallway with doors littering both sides. He looked behind him and saw the same. "well... Only one way out and that's forward I guess." Sora started walking. First instinct, ignore the doors and find an end to this hallway, but after what seemed like hours he grabbed hold of a door knob, twisted it, and opened the door.

Inside he saw his island. Like the door he was exiting was from the mysterious door he had entered at the beginning of his lengthy journey. Sora stepped onto the sandy path and made his way to the dock. The salty breeze stung his eyes, but it didn't bother him too much as something more important stood in front of him at the end of the dock.

Sora saw reddish-brown hair, bright blue eyes, and the softest most welcoming smile. He returned the smile and started to sprint towards the figure.

Tears formed in his eyes. This journey that he's been on for over a year now feels so close to the end. He was right there with his best friend. She was here, his world was safe and his friend was safe too!

Sora held out his arms as he approached to give his friend the biggest hug he could muster. He wrapped swung his arms around the figure and they phased right through. Sora gasped. The sprint forced him forward and with no physical body to catch him, he fell forward off the dock, landing in the ocean below him.

He sunk like a rock. The ocean water stinging his eyes as he tried to swim up but to no avail. He reached up as a last second effort to grab onto something but couldn't find anything. His eyes closed as he sank deep into this darkness.

AND FAWN WASN'T TINKER BELL , who was brave and smart and always knew how to fix just about anything . she wasn't iridessa , who could make the whole tower glow with just a little mote of light , or sil' , who could part the mists just as fast as vidia could gust it all away with a couple of wing flaps ! fawn was just . . . fawn . which would be fine . . . if that meant she wasn't alone . ( and for a moment ,  however small , a deep pit settled in fawn's stomach . suddenly , her wings felt heavier . just like her heart . . . ) NO . no .

FAWN SHOOK HER HEAD . she pinched her lips and held her chin high . tink would face the big scary shadows HEAD ON . and queen clarion would tell any fairy that there was never anything to fear , so long as you believed in yourself ! if they could do that . . . SO COULD FAWN . so WOULD fawn !

IN RESPONSE TO HER HEART : fawn's glow grew ever brighter as she neared the dark mists . the amber - gold reflected off the walls and ceiling , illuminating the halls and bouncing off of tiles and stone . she felt its pull more than she could SEE WHAT SHE WAS LOOKING FOR , but descended towards the dark mist anyways . slowly , carefully , fawn reached towards it , and as her fingertips grazed the fog , IT PARTED : revealing — ❛ sora ? ❜

for once : following her instincts was undoubtedly the right call .

@mokeyokeplusfan In reference to this post, Fawn’s original design actually had a purple outfit for basically all of her appearances up through “Silvermist and the Ladybug Curse” until she got her own book in 2008, “Fawn and the Mysterious Trickster” when it became the orange outfit we know her in–and they also changed her eyes from green to brown.

Drew some of the main fairies recently from the Tinkerbell books and movies!
