- Wear nail polish because you fucking feel like it.

- Understand that (most) women do not wear make-up for you. (Extra points if you ask her about make-up, such as why she does likes it. If she sais “I don’t know”, maybe ask her “Is it fun?” she might just say yes.) 

- Do not think twice about whether clothes have genders or not, because you know they are only pieces of fabric.

- Do not act as if women are from another planet, because you know that’s fucking stupid, and you understand some women simply act differently than some man because girls and boys are very often raised differently.

- Do not make degrading jokes about women, because you realize that, to you, they might be harmless jokes because they are so absurd. But to women, they are still way too realistic, and it’s hard for women to laugh at a woman being treated like an object, or a slave to men.

- Understands that women do not owe you anything just because you are nice to them. - Do not assume things about women, just based off of them being women. (Such as, assuming they are lesbians because they don’t shave, or have short hair. Such as assuming she won’t be interested is something that’s “typically” masculine)

- Take the time to find out how periods work, and understand it’s as biological as everything else going on inside a human body. (Extra points if you take the time to feel some sympathy for the people who have insane pains during ovulation, because you understand that physical pain does not always fucking mean wounds on the outside.)

- Are secure enough in your own hetero sexuality to admit when other men are attractive, because you know that finding someone attractive does not always mean you want to have sex with them.

- Are secure enough to not take offense when someone tries to insult you by calling you “gay”, because you know being gay is not an insult.

- Not acting shocked over gender-related reasons just because it defies the stereotypes that still roams society.

- Are not scared to call other men out on their bullshit, because you know they are juvenile asshats who never realized better.

- Do not let your dick decide who you are. (And understand that size is only relevant to a certain point and to certain women) - Do not terms as “femenazi” for literally no reason. (For example, when a woman is angry because people call women gross when they don’t shvae)

- Do not view genders as limitations of behavior and personalities or skill, but as opportunities for human kind to be as diverse and happily fucked up as we possibly can be.

 Thank you, to all of you, who fills any of these. I realize I’m just thanking you for being sensible, logical human beings, but the thing is-

You are a massive part for a future of an equal society, the way you refuse to let the norm control you. I’m sure you understand that hetero cis-men, more than any other gender or sexuality, are expected to act a certain way, because that is the society that history tells us have been true. As long as cishetero men do NOT prove THAT history wrong, then that is what we will somehow keep assuming is true. So thank you, for defying the false reality that we have been taught. Thank you for dismissing the norm, proving human complexicity along with us, the ones who just want to live a happy life. Thank you for being open-minded. Thank you for proving that gender does not mean as much as some of our ancestors were taught to believe.
