It’s funny, being aroace is more important to me than being trans. Don’t get me wrong, on a societal level being trans is way more impactful. But in terms of my identity and my experience as a human being, I just don’t care about my gender expression very much. Being aroace, I don’t experience something that many people swear by as a core part of the human condition. I experience relationships such as friendships and family as what I cherish most out of people.
