i just discovered the @tournament-announcer blog
also just discovered two word tournament blogs that happened before this one, @ultimate-word-tournament and @bestwordtournament, but neither of them are currently running so I will continue
anyways for anyone new here: right now, polls ARE being run, BUT submissions are still open HERE! i have a system, it's not completely disorganized, trust me
currently, 3 polls are being posted each day, and each poll has 10 words. the 2 words that receive the most votes win and move on in the tournament. i will probably start posting these polls faster if i get loads of submissions or something
me and a couple friends had prepared a list of 1100 something words before i started the tournament and i've only received like 10 or so submissions...
the intent of the submissions was to fill in obvious good words that we missed, so please, if you think of a good word, submit it! don't worry if it might be a duplicate submission.
