CJP is going to stop the whole protest I don't think they'll continue, I mean I don't have any expectations from people who couldn't crowd control and let the students get beat up while protecting themselves, aur azaadi slogan ban karna like cmon so dumb.

If this protest ends here, they'll now probably begin witch-hunting minorities who were there at the protest(they already have began doing this).

Remember that our job doesn't end here we will bring this fascist government down and let's start lending voices and raising awareness on other protests going on across the country.

Lastly, a lot of political parties and everyone else will try and make it seem like this win is theirs. IT ISN'T, THE YOUTH OF THIS COUNTRY DID THIS. Y'ALL TAKE THE COMPLETE CREDIT FOR IT. NO CJP, NO ONE ELSE . YOU SHOWED UP , YOU FACED THE VIOLENCE, YOU FOUGHT FOR THIS. THIS IS YOUR WIN. And even if you couldn't protest on ground and all you did was raise awareness thats a huge deal too.

this is maithil erasure.

she isn't north eastern. she isn't assamese or whatever you think her to be. she is maithil. she was from MITHILA, which consists of parts of present day india and nepal. who told you she looks like a north eastern person?! this is the erasure of an entire culture and their identity. Also its very racist to assume that every maithil/nepali person will have mongoloid features when that's legit not the case. I'm wondering if it will be alright if someone said ram/krishna were anyone else other than a person from awadh/braj. They won't tolerate that but yes it's totally fine for everyone else to claim mithila's culture and our beloved goddess as being born in xyz place.

Chapters on nazism, mughals, german and french revolutions, and evolution have been removed from class 9 and 10 textbooks.

Farmers are still committing suicide. Tribals are still being killed. Forests are still being cut down. The economy is still in shambles. The lgbtq+ community still faces hate crimes.

But it can change.

Religious minorities are still being pushed out. Women are not yet safe. Children are not yet safe.

But it will change.

Our roads are still unclean. Our air is still polluted. Our temperature is still rising.

But we can change.

This moment should not satisfy you. But it should fill you with hope. It should fill you with resolve.

Sunday, I had decided to drop out of uni and rethink my life choices, I doubted him, because I was doubting myself. Today, I believe in myself because I believe in him.

• they've started detaining students liberally. if you're going to the protest or coming from it they're very likely to detain you (the police has spread it check points all across central delhi). you'll be denied entry by auto or even walk, they'll either try to scare you away or detain you. if you're coming from other state especially by railway you'll be asked what are you here for & be asked to prove it.

• the government has blocked 17 metro stations surrounding jantar mantar. for some reason they're also covering up janpath & other nearby metro stations. all entrances to jantar mantar have been closed off & a complete internet shutdown near jantar mantar.

• they are denying lawyers contact with their clients. they've also been denied entry in police station to speak to their clients, that inspector has apologized qa of now & an internal investigation for his behaviour is said to have started.

• they're also making sure that the protesters have no access to food, water or electricity. last night electricity supply to janpath was cut off ++ the police are now stopping delivery men at check points & seizing food ordered by supporters from all across the country (don't worry they have enough food).

• cafes & shops in connaught place have been given a legal notice to shut down by 6 (since many of them were providing free water & washroom services to protesters). even nearby hotels have denied room booking to doctors.

• many creators have been offered money to speak against the protest & start a hate campaign.

• we are under complete state surveillance. the police is using meta ai glasses to record the protesters, and is later running a facial recognition check on them.
