'What could he want from me?' Peter wondered worriedly as he walked towards the office of the Headmaster. For some reason he couldn't explain the Slytherin still deeply feared the man he was about to face. This was why his usually brisk, faced-passed speed of walking was reduced to a sluggish pace - he was trying to prolong the inevitable as desperately as only a man in his state was capable of. 'Idiot' the voice in his head spat at him and his observations. 'If youāre tardy as you always are, all youāll do is annoy him. How could you possibly be so stupid?' And indeed how could he, the boy thought ashamed of his own ignorance as he sped up his strides. No longer than a couple of minutes later he was standing before the brown door that still separated him and the man whom he dreaded to meet. 'Get in there, stupid' his unwanted companion commanded in his head so Peter obediently siddled inside with a small, meek greeting as he closed the door after himself and stood up next to it, unsure what he was supposed to do.
Robert regretted several things i his life, not being there the day his wife died being on the top of the list. But what he had done to these children, this was constant haunting him. He had thought.. no he had hoped he had always known things could turn out this way, but he had hoped the effects wouldn't be as severe. Peter was his top worry right now, he had chosen him for his intellect, and he seemed.. A shadow of him former self. "Come in Peter. Come in." He said standing up his hand gesturing to the chair in front of the table. He needed to see how deep the boy had changed, to see what actions he would have to take and plan how he would approach the other students. "Sit down, we have some things to talk about, but first. How are you?"
Headmaster, I wanted to express my gratitude for rearranging my accommodation last night, I'm very sorry for any inconvenience and I know Miss Potter can't have given you much information, and I'm sorry I can't explain much, but I didn't feel very safe in my own dorm. Once again, thank you Sir

While she was yelling she I became concerned with some of the things that she was saying, they were very dark and I fear for Mia's safety. Thank you for this letter Lorcan, I will make sure to keep a more watchful eye on Miss Selwyn and get to the bottom of why she would appear so dark. Her safety, all of you kids's safety matters a lot to me, it would break my heart to see any of you getting hurt.

Headmaster, a party happened today as you are aware from my last letter and there is a problem. Louis my cousin is out of control and I am afraid he will resort to more violence, he did today who knows what he will do tomorrow. He may turn abusive on the people he cares for. Also Samuel McCloud needs a new room to stay.
Thank you for informing me Miss Potter. I will have to deal with Louis immediately, violence is not something we condone inside of Hogwarts, and though I hope it won't escalate you do have a point something must be done for him to control his anger, for him to continue as it is would be horrible to the student body in general.
I assume you don't wish to tell me more about the subject of Mr McCloud, but I will assume Louis is the reason since they are roommates. Tell your friend a new bed has been added to the Seventh Year Gryffindor dorm, from what I hear Alexei, Lorcan and Darren are some of our best students and he will be safe there. Plus, James and Joe will definetly make the mood lighter.

She is currently at the infirmary being checked for any injuries, I know you are all excited to visit her but please go in small groups we don't want to overwhelm her. Attention all students
It's come to my attention that a few of you are becoming rather restless and anxious and while I'm sure Miss Potter would be flattered to know how many of you wish to be out on the grounds searching for her or any clue as to her whereabouts but as I ordered earlier,Ā all students must remain in their respective common rooms. This is in no way meant to be a punishment but with students running around the risk of more people vanishing only grows considerably. The people I have out scouring the ground for any leads to Miss Potter's whereabouts are trained professionals and know how to correctly handle the situation at hand while you are all still school-age children who simply put will only be in the way. It's very easy to trample over evidence that is invisible to your own untrained eye so it's important that you all just stay put in your common rooms where you'll be safe and leave the search to those I've appointed. Any students who do not heed this message and try and take matters into their own hands will be dealt with accordingly. Now, if you don't mind I've got a missing student to locate.

"Six..? You feel six is enough to find her? She could be long gone with only six searching around the place, Headmaster." In truth if the headmaster had said he hand-picked six hundred aurors it wouldnāt have been enough. Nothing was too much in a case like this, there was only going to be too little and so Pierreās rational mind kicked in. "How good are they? Do they have anything to go off?" His voice had become calmer but the fire in his eyes wasnāt lost through the relaxing of his voice. His best friend was missing. The one person in the world that seemed to understand him was missing and he was powerless. He didnāt know anything about what had happened and so he needed some knowledge to go off before even thinking about heading out on his own.Ā
"What about the staff? What are they doing at this moment in time? If a fifth year student canāt protect herself from whatever took her, how do you expect us to protect ourselves without help? You canāt simply leave the students in the places they are known to stay. Itās not safe that way. I donāt know what the safer option is at this point because there havenāt been any other disappearances but this needs more thought." Pierre said, feeling as if the headmaster had barely thought over his words at all. "This is far more than worry, Headmaster. You know, that should anything happen to her your head will be on the chopping block. If I were you I would at least come across as a little more concerned about the situation." The blond said cuttingly, knowing that all he was saying was the truth. Students going missing under any headmaster or headmistress was an area wrought with major negatives. Ā
"Six handpicked Hit Wizards who are a lot better than most of the aurors out there. But they are my pick who are going through my orders, the rest of the Aurors are working out there as well." He stood up putting his hands on the blonde boy's shoulders looking him straight in the eye. "We gave them a few articles of clothing that they can use to track her. And I assure you, they are the best. Bulgarian Wizard Minister went missing a few wears ago, they were the ones who worked to find him. I believe he is healthy vacationing in the Alpes now." For a moment he let his mind wander to his team, it felt a bit bad to have them working in a wild goose chase, but it what was needed. "The staff are also out, they know this castle better than the aurors do."
"If you are all together, you will be safe. Strength in numbers. The room Lily was taken from, did you know it's the one with the less amount of students? Only three, for one student was taken before from that room. Anastasia Krum. The Slytherin dorm is also the easiest one to enter, the Hufflepuff one has never been broken into, the Gryffindor has a ghost at the entrance and the Ravenclaw besides having a riddle is way up there, it would take a while to escape." Each of the students he picked for his trip had an underlining reason, this was Lily's, how easy it would be to take her compared to the other students. "Mr Dubois, I get you are worried, and you are complaining we aren't doing enough. Well, you are taking my time here, whilst i was going through the passages of the school in a map." He sat down once again taking the map on his hands. "Take this, find at least five other students and go through the passage ways. Maybe you will find something we haven't."

Oh Miss Selwyn, yes, could you please organize that the students stay in their dorms for now? It's safer to stay inside and in big numbers. I expect that you will be able to follow my advice unlike the other students.

I understand your pain Mr Longbottom. But we have everyone we can working on it. We got some of her things already, her roommates pointed out what was hers and we are tracking her now.

"Pierre Dubios. And yes, I did." The blond said as he stood in front of a headmaster who seemed so unmoved by everything. Here he was in a state of disarray ruffling papers around on his desk while one of his students was missing. Pierre knew he wouldnāt have taken that approach, he knew he would have been so much more alert to everything going on. Pierre would have search parties out around the castle and grounds and heād try and get as much information as possible. He wasnāt all that sure if heād do all that for other students but this was Lily; his lines were getting a little crossed. The French boy couldnāt help it. He couldnāt help but feel ready to snap but the Dubios in him kept his emotions in check even when it wasnāt natural to do so.Ā
Pierre felt a silent fire burn through him. āStay in your common room, watch out for the younger kids.ā He moved over to the Headmasterās desk and put his hands down on the desk. āHeadmaster Arruda, that isnāt an option right now. I canāt sit with you and discuss this and I canāt go back to my common room and sit around waiting for more announcements. I donāt work like that. I donāt work like that when friends are in danger. I need to ask.. Why on earth are you just sitting here? Whatās the plan of action? You canāt just expect the whole school to follow your lead, can you? Because they wonāt.ā Pierre said with a jaw clenched tighter than it should have been. He moved himself off the desk and stood up to his full height. āHeadmaster? What do you know about the situation?ā
He was surprised at how the boy reacted, he could see the determination on his eyes, he would be a good person to have on his side it seemed, loyalty like that didn't come easily. "Mr Dubois, I have aurors working to find her inside the castle and outside the castle, I handpicked six Hit Wizards I worked with for years, who are some of the best on the field to help me find her, they are going to search every place they can. I have the Head Auror breathing down my neck, whose daughter is missing. I assure you everyone is working to find her."
"But the younger students, who can't protect themselves? They are all alone, because I have spared no hands to find her. But if none of the older students help me, I might have to pluck a few people out of the field to babysit some kids. Because she was taken from her room probably. And it can happen again. She is your friend, and I understand you are worried, but you need to understand I am doing everything in my power to find her. i am sitting here because I have to organize everything." None of the words that escaped his lips were lies, in the eyes of everyone in the world Lily Luna Potter was missing, every hand was working.

Pierre didnāt have time for feelings. This wasnāt the hour for letting himself get wrapped up in the announcement of Lilyās disappearance. If he did he knew heād falter, if he did he knew there would be no way of ever helping the situation. Arruda had said that the password on his office had been taken off and so Pierre knew exactly where heād be going. Pierre would have went off on his own if he had any idea of where Lily was but he had nothing. He had just been speaking to Lily the day previous. Theyād been talking about how they were going to take the wizarding world by storm and nowā Now she was gone; But not for long. The blond boy kept that thought in his head. Sheād been back soon enough because theyād find her; they had to find her.Ā
The French boy made his way to Arrudaās office as soon as he could, not even knocking before he entered. āHeadmaster? Headmaster?ā The boy called before running a hand through his hair, fixing it back in place. His quickened pace had sent strands falling in front of his eyes. Pierre Dubios never had a hair out of place; not unless a friend was in grave danger. And Lily, well she was so much more than a friend in Pierreās eyes that he could barely stand still in the Headmasterās office. āIām here about Lily. I donāt know her current whereabouts or what happened but Iām here to offer myself. She needs to be found.ā Normally when in front of the Headmaster Pierre was proper and polite but both of those things didnāt mean a damn thing with Lily lost. She needed to be found and it was as simple as that.Ā
"What do you suggest? Have any other students been in to give you a location? Or a last sighting?"Ā
One of the first thing you learned when you became a hit Wizard was hot to feign emotion, so when you visited the families you could at least pretend to be shocked. Some might say it wasn't a good idea, they could use that emotion as an admission of guilt, but Arruda always saw it as a technique, to get people to sympathize. So he made a whole work about it, his hair was in dirarray, his suit rumbled. He looked at the boy who entered the office pointing to the chair in front of him.
"Come in. Come in. No, until now we haven't had any luck. For now we are searching the premises. I know you want to look out for your friend, but there is nothing to do for now. Stay in your common room, watch out for the younger kids." he said looking at the boy in front of him, organizing the papers in his table, every few moments taking a glance at them.
"You are Pierre right? You transferred with her if I remember correctly?."
