The Snwitch’s Spell To Cut Ties With a Person
Hi there! This spell was requested by vinyloctaviascratch, who wanted a spell to completely dissolve all connections with somebody. Enjoy!
What you’ll need:
String (Black, grey or blue for any purpose. Pink if the person is a past lover/girlfriend/boyfriend or close friend.)
A candle to represent you (Pick a color that you feel represents you best. See color correspondences here)
A candle to represent the other person (Pick a color to represent them. See color correspondences here)
Matches/lighter/fire source

What you do:
Set up the candles side by side. Make sure that it is clear to you who the candles represent. You can carve names into them if you wish, or you can even put photos of the people that they represent under or in front of them. This isn’t required, but just make sure that it is clear that the candles are representations of people.
Tie the string so that it connects the two candles. Make sure that it is securely fastened around each candle and that there is a line of string in between the candles that connects them both. The string should be tied very low on the candle, almost at the bottom. Say:
“May this string represent the ties that bind me to (insert person’s name here). We currently are connected, but soon, this shall be no more.”
Light the candles. Say:
“The flame still burns in our relationship, but, as the candles burn out, and the connections that keep us together are cut, our ties shall be no more.”
Let the candles burn. As the candles go lower and lower and the candles begin to burn out, return to the candles. If you want to speed things up, you can simply blow out or snuff out the candles rather than waiting for them to burn out on their own. Say:
“The flame of our relationship has now gone out.”
Cut the string that connects the two candles. Say:
“Our ties are now cut. Gone are our connections. Gone are our ties. Gone are the last remnants of our relationship. May our paths never cross again and our ties never be remade. With this intent, so shall it be.”
Remove the candles and the string. Keep the two candles away from each other, and dispose of them in separate places.
