I imagine you have a lot going on, getting ready to leave the country. I think it goes without saying, but I’m gonna miss you fiercely while you’re in Australia.

I have faith that you’ll pick something that will be fun for the both of us, so I don’t mind. Oh I know you can, you definitely have a fiery side, its hot though. Yeah I gotta pack eventually, got a lot of working out to do, making sure I definitely know all my lines, all the usual stuff. I’m really gonna miss you, even though we spend days a part at a time at least we’re in the same city. But you can come visit and stay for as long as you want.

Oh I can think of a couple things, but you’ll have to be here in person for them. No no no, we will leave the place in the same state or better than before we got there. You haven’t seen me go full mom mode yet, but I won’t hesitate to. If you need a second set of eyes, let me know.

I’ll give you an ‘I owe you’ then for you to use when I’m there again. Okay fine I promise, the building will still be intact when we leave. I hope I never have to, would be a little weird if you went full mom mode on me. No it’s fine, I’ll probably just get my agent to do it for me.

It was good! I think the project will turn out great, but it’s time to relax a little. Oh nice, you get to work at home! Are you excited?

Anything with you in it is amazing though, so I believe you. Enjoy the break, put your feet up and relax. Yeah I can’t wait to go back, I’ve spent more time in Australia this year then I have at home in LA but I’m not complaining.

Yeah, I just don’t want to leave my family all worried. It doesn’t help that mum’s a psychologist so she’ll take any chance she can get to pick apart my psyche and habits. Oh, Charlize is a wealth of information that I cherish. I truly hope I can live up to the role she created. You’re from Australia, right? I imagine it’ll be wonderful to return home while you film.

Family are always going to worry no matter what you do, it doesn’t matter what I tell my mum she will always find something to worry about. I bet that’s not fun, you can’t lie to her. Yeah she’s awesome, I enjoyed working with her and I think you’ll do a great job. Yeah I am, I’ve been pretty lucky that I’ve gotten to be back in Australia a lot recently, even if it is because I’m working.

I haven’t watched this show so I can’t comment on the trailers for it. However I do agree with you on this point that it bugs me as well when they show too much. Keep some sort of mystery damn. The Men In Black and Ghostbuster movies are iconic so I can see why you’d be happy to be apart of them. It’s like with IT for me, I was happy to be apart of it after I didn’t think I was going to get it. It might’ve been the people that grew up with the original that complained about the all female cast, I can’t be for sure though because people bitch about things unnecessarily. I’m looking forward to what they do with the new one because I think it’s the director from the original one. I’d have to look it up to say for certain. Didn’t you stuff your younger brother in a dryer? That’s torture enough! My biochemistry is bonkers I think because whenever I’m in LA or anywhere where it’s not proper black outside at 3pm in the winter time I’m confused. We get to roast marshmallows on Christmas Day, I’m not even mad at this. Do we really need a Chris army? I’m kidding. 

It’s a good show, I highly recommend it. When you were a fan of the original and then you get to be a part of the franchise you’re inner child comes out the whole time, at least with me it did. Unfortunately it’s just one of those things where you’re never gonna please everyone and for the most part it was the ones who were big fans of the original that didn’t take too well with the remake. But it’s okay, you win some, you lose some. The new Ghostbusters looks really good, I can’t wait to see it, I might have to make my kids watch the rest of the movies first with me. Yeah, I stuffed him in a dryer, he’s thrown a knife at me, things were pretty wild in the Hemsworth household when we were growing up. It’s always weird whenever you move to a new country and you have to get accustomed to their ways. We don’t need a Chris army, but I want one.

You knew this walking in - nothing gets past me. Don’t worry, I might need to keep you grounded, but I’m not cruel enough to put all the blame on you. As long as nobody gets hurt and there’s structural damage to the lazer tag building, I think you’re free to be as competitive as your heart desires. Precisely. Smart, convenient, and efficient. Now all you need to do is actually find a place with an indoor hot-tub bathtub.

Thank you, I’m glad that you will spare me all the blame, whatever could I do to repay you for such kindness. I can’t promise anything, some people may get hurt, the building may not be standing afterwards, who knows what will happen. I’m on the hunt for one as we speak and I won’t stop until I come across one.

You can’t fool me, Hems. Definitely not the bedroom. Oh don’t worry, I will never say he’s entirely innocent, but I know what you can be like. I’m curious to how this weekend will go. Can you and Tom behave yourselves for an afternoon? I was going to say that location doesn’t matter, but I take that back. Hot tub indoors closer to a bed could be very…strategic!

Dammit, I guess that’s what I get for dating a Harvard graduate, too smart. As long as I don’t get all the blame. We can try to behave, but we know I can get competitive, so I can’t make any promises. Exactly, less time it takes to move between the two, it’s smart, convenient.

Sir, we’ve already had this discussion. In no context could you be described as an angel. Are you telling me my memories of the Thor 1 and 2 filmings were all made up? I specifically recall you and Tom getting into all sorts of mischief together, but you’re perfectly capable of doing it on your own. Oh, that sounds wonderful. I’m glad I came across hot tub rental to put it in your mind.

Oh did we? Hmmm, no, nope don’t remember that conversation, nope, never happened. Except for in the bedroom, because that would be boring. That was all Tom, he’s such a bad influence, don’t be fooled by the gentleman British accent. Oooo what if it’s a hot tub bathtub, or whatever they’re called, in the master bedroom.

That is too much power for one man to have. Good thing I’m here to keep you grounded and humble, because who knows what sort of mischief you could get into! I might have to bring them some time since they enjoyed the visits during Love and Thunder filming so much. If you have your vacation home, we could crash there. No hot tub, though…damn.

You did give me the power, you can’t take it back now, that’s not how it works. I’m an angel, I don’t get into mischief, you must have mistaken me for someone else. I’ll make sure I get a place big enough for the possibility of five kids at once then. We will definitely sort out a long weekend when we have all the kids and we can go to the vacation home. Oh don’t worry I’ll make sure the place I rent has a hot tub.

Clearly you do. I know you would, but it’s making me feel better just seeing your face. More free time will be a nice perk to have when I come to visit. You’ll have to let me know if you know of any breaks you’ll have that’d be best for me to fly down. I am going to have a fair bit of free time for the next couple of months. Are you still scheduled to fly out in a few weeks?

My face has a lot of power, imagine what the rest of me could do. As soon as I get a schedule you’ll be the first person I tell, but you could still come see me even if I didn’t have a break. There will never be a bad time for you to fly down. When you don’t have the kids you can spend as much time in Australia as you want. I mean even if you had the kids you could come out for a bit. Yeah, right now the schedule is still same.

How’s it going, handsome? You have great timing. The kids just laid down and I was trying hard not to drown my sorrows in wine. Long story short, the show’s not happening. I guess Australia was the back-up plan and when that fell through, there was nothing sitting on the side. I’m not terribly heartbroken over not filming the show, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed to not be in Australia with you for a few months.

I guess I just have a sixth sense for knowing when you need cheering up. If I didn’t have the kids I would have come over. Really? I’m sorry babe, it does suck that you don’t get to do the show, it would have been great. I was looking forward to both of us being in Australia at the same time but it’s okay, we’ll make it work and just think of all that free time you have to come visit sometimes.

It only makes sense. It’s a natural next step and I’m sure Pratt wouldn’t mind at all.  We just started filming, though. I won’t get a break for awhile and I guess I’m fine with it. I like being busy anyway You can? I thought you just had to stay in bed all day. Huh. You really do learn something new everyday. I’d be so lost with you, buddy. Yeah see, it’s hard to tell if it’s a sequel or not.

We all know Pratt loves sharing the screen with me, I don’t give him much of a choice. Yeah but even short breaks like a few hours or a night off is better than nothing. Believe it or not there’s a lot more you can do, people often mistake it as just having to spend the whole time in bed. You’re welcome for teaching you that, I’m here for all your learning needs. Either way I’ll watch it, I’m sure the kids will love it.

I was very busy that night. You could be lying to me right now and I’d never know. I would never offend you in such a way, so don’t worry - your invite is on it’s way too. I’m great also. Just busy between filming and planning the wedding. 

Would I ever lie to you Margot? Good, I’m expecting it to be the biggest event of the year. Have you got a lot planned yet? The hype over The Suicide Squad seems to be good, congrats on yet another amazing job. I haven’t seen it yet, but I’m definitely going to soon.

Limits? I don’t know the meaning of the word. In all seriousness, I love moving around and keeping busy. The problem is I don’t want her worrying and feel like I should take a vacation just to put her heart at ease. Oh, I’m very ready. I’ve been texting Charlize, getting every bit of advice out of her as I can. The better question is are you ready? 

If you feel like you’re okay then it doesn’t matter what other’s think, you know yourself better than anyone. If you have a few days where you don’t have anything to do then just do something then, that might be enough to please her. Mum’s can definitely be persuading and don’t give in. Charlize is great so I can imagine she’s giving you some great advice. I’m always ready, I’m excited to get to work but to also be back in Australia.
