i can definitely see ness and hiori having mentally fucked up partners or seeking that type of person out.

like, with ness, he'd probably be a tad more sane, but he would loveeee when ya vent n cry to him. also if you ever tell him about wanting to end it all, he'll probably end up like worried, but would definitely fuck yer brains out till yer thinking about nothing but him. he'd probably end up looking for a therapist while you sleep on his chest completely blissed out tho. n imagine the power trip he'd get by saving you like kaiser basically saved him.

however, with hiori, if he ever sees like yer sh scars, he lwky might freak out in two ways. one, makes you come to him anytime you think about hurting yerself again n either has you cut him up instead. two,he gets rock hard (also like if u have cuts (NOT FRESH, DUH,) on yer thighs, expect him to constantly lay his head ther, or stick his dick in between em. i can see him lovinggggggg how dependent you are with him, especially with like basic tasks if yer depression gets bad.
