If you have watched a decent amount of Pretty Cure seasons or at least the first episode of a few seasons, there’s a chance that you have become familiar with the trope of the lead Cure or Cures making a high leap in their first fight, that’s usually unintentional and greatly surprises the enemy (and themselves). But with the height of these moments varying among each other, which Cure has jumped the highest? Let’s jump into this topic to find out:
12. Cure Black and Cure White
Didn’t see this coming huh? Despite the insane stunts Black and White would pull off later in the series, their first jump is surprisingly one of the lowest, being able to jump high enough to reach a Merry-Go-Round. It’s a mere scratch of the surface of what’s to come from them and the Cures that would appear later in this franchise and list.
Our first proper Pink Lead had a much more impressive feat but still below what’s to come from her and the other Cures later. She manages to jump quite high and far in a library.
By seeing this image, you would assume that Cure Star jumped all the way from Earth into space. She would be number one without a doubt if that were the case but it isn’t. She already was in space when jumped from her star glyph to dodge the goons under Kappard’s command. The distance, while hard to determine, is still more impressive than the previous two as her small step ended up being one giant leap for a Pretty Cure.
9. Cure Miracle and Cure Magical
Miracle and Magical gotten a head start just like Star as they were flying on their broomstick and jumped from a rooftop to escape from Batty. The magic in this moment is that is far more easier detect how far they jump and we can certainly confirm that it’s higher than Star as they were able to see a couple rooftops.

5. Cure Bloom and Cure Egret
This technically happened in the second episode but I’m still willing to count it since they were mostly showing off their defense capabilities in the first episode. The defenders of nature have surpassed both their predecessors and many of their successors by a huge mile, quite literally regarding the distance. They were able to jump high and far enough to cover their entire neighborhood.
Apart from controlling Holy Light, Cure Happy also has a secondary ability, which is making extreme high and far jumps. And jump she did as she can nearly see the whole city in her first leap. Though when they say "Jump for joy”, this probably isn’t what she had in mind.
Our shy and reserved Cure takes the bronze for making a jump so high, she can actually see the whole city. That’s a pretty insane feat. It’s unfortunate that this delicate little flower would later drop like a rock and make a less than graceful landing.
Embodying most of the traits from a rabbit, you expect Cure Whip to have more hops than your average Cure. Well, you be right as Whip the runner up on this list for seeing most of the city, the sea, AND the tall hill within the town. Hop Step Jump indeed.
