can I be pissy for a second. I hate the whole culture of "oh you wish you could leave more kudos or you haven't talked to someone despite following them? YOU are what I wrong with fandom and killing it!! Leave comments if you don't hate artists!!" As a writer myself. Like actually I do leave comments and I have been slowly forcing myself to message people (exposure therapy.) and the least helpful thing anyone has done for me thus far has been to say that shit everywhere. Like okay!! That makes me want to avoid talking at all because it's very obvious you wanna yell at someone! Sometimes I want to leave two kudos because I think something is good, sometimes I wish I could psychically beam my mutual "I like you" energy without having to use up spoons or deal with how fucked my brain is, that literally doesn't mean I don't cmment.
