Skeleton is walking home with groceries when he notices a child crossing the road. A car shows up out of nowhere and hit the child, sending them flying. The car doesn't even stop, the kid is screaming in agony on the floor and skeleton is all alone to deal with this. For the main 12 and, if possible, maybe the Horror skeletons (well, minus Merlot and Mocha for obvious reasons)
Undertale Sans - Sans lets go of everything to run toward the child. He takes a few deep breath, forcing himself to keep his calm. He takes his phone, calls emergency services, and keeps the phone flying with blue magic so he can have both his hands free. He talks calmly to the child trying to get them to say where it hurts, but it seems it hurts everywhere, so the best he can do is pin them down with blue magic so they can't hurt themselves more. Sans sits with them, his calm voice slowly calming the kid. While waiting for the ambulance, he managed to get their name, age, and an approximate location of their house to warn their parents. Rescue services join him fast and thank him for his quick reaction. Sans goes with them, as he doesn't feel like letting them go alone to the hospital, and so he can talk to the police and explain the parents what happened himself. That's only late in the night when all is good and he can go home that he realizes all the groceries were still on the road. Oh well, he hopes some homeless people had the meal of a lifetime.
Undertale Papyrus - Papyrus gasps and runs to the child. He tries to unsee in his head the fact that the bone of the leg is clearly not supposed to be visible and starts to heal what he can, at least to soothe the pain temporarily. When the kid stops screaming, he calls an ambulance and does his best to stay cheerful and de-escalate the situation so the child doesn't freak out. And so they don't look at their leg as, well, that might be a little traumatizing. The child stays calm until the doctors arrive, and Papyrus steps aside to explain what happened to Undyne, who arrived shortly after. Undyne asks if he's ok, as, uh, all his bones are rattling, but that's fine. He's not the one who needs help, he can deal with this. He still accepts the ride home Undyne offers him after he's sure the parents are warned and that the kid won't be alone in this. That ends up being a trap as Undyne drives him to her home, so he spends the night on her couch instead. She doesn't want to leave him alone in that state.
Underswap Sans - Blue quickly snaps a photo of the car, hoping he got the licence plate, then runs to the kid. He quickly calls for an ambulance, doing his best to keep the kid calm, even though they're absolutely not listening to him. He pins them down gently so they stop squirming, as their injury is already bad. He keeps his calm, he's a police officer before all, and he simply waits until the rescue services arrive a few minutes later. As soon as they're taken care of, he's looking through his photos. He got the licence plate! He jumps in the first police car showing up. He wants to be in and chase that guy down, come on!
Underswap Papyrus - He stays frozen in shock for a few seconds, then he snaps out of it as the child screams on the floor. Honey is completely freaking out, especially when he sees the blood everywhere, but he forces himself to hold it together and calls rescue services, his hands shaking so bad he has to try three times before getting it right. He blindly follows what the lady on the phone asks him to do, as he doesn't want to be the only one in charge of this, and to prevent himself from passing out, as his service dog keeps warning him it's about to happen. Once the kid is taken care of, he hugs his dog, sighs, and passes out lol. He did his best.
Underfell Sans and Papyrus - Red jumps, badly triggered by the loud noise, and stays completely frozen for a few minutes. His survival instinct eventually kicks in as he's standing in the middle of the road, vulnerable, and he finally snaps out of it to run to the child. He curses himself as the kid is already passed out when he finally reaches them, and he does his best to call rescue services despite how panicked he is right now. He immediately calls Edge as well, because he doesn't feel like he can keep going much longer in his state. He's about to have a panic attack, and he doesn't want to hurt the kid more accidentally. Luckily, Edge is not too far and immediately joins his brother. He sits Red on the side, and starts to heal the kid the best he can, to at least make sure they survive until rescue services show up. All while doing that, he tries to keep his brother grounded, painfully aware Red is not ok. Red needs time and a quiet space to recover from loud noise triggers, and when the rescue services arrive, it's not quiet anymore. Edge simply makes sure the kid is taken care of and then drives his brother home so he can calm down in his room. Police can wait until he feels better to learn what happened.
Horrortale Sans and Papyrus - Oak forces himself to focus, as the kid is in pain, and he can't give up on them this time. He goes to them, cringing hard when he sees all the blood on the floor, but the child is in pain and he needs to help. He does his best to put them in a more comfortable position, then he calls the rescue services, then he calls Willow because he doesn't trust himself with all the instructions. Willow comes as fast as he can out of the farm, and does his best to not scare the child, who is already a bit impressed by the gigantic hole in Oak's face. Rescue services are fast on site, and are... Uh... CONCERNED about Oak's hole because are you sure the car didn't hit that guy too??? Willow laughs awkwardly, trying to dismiss the subject as now is NOT the time for past traumas, thank you very much. The brothers wait nervously for the police to arrive, and both sigh of relief when they see it's Blue, as they won't have to justify being, you know, in the street when that happened. After that, they just walked back home to recover from the stress, and Willow hugs his brother telling him he did all the right things and that he is impressed he kept his calm.
Horrorswap Sans - Nugget gets triggered by the noise, and so does the only thing coming to his mind: attacking the car. The driver is surprised as a huge blaster suddenly appears in front of them, and then the car crashes into a wall. Nugget is shaking, unsure what he even did, but he rushes to the child. He doesn't want to touch them, as he's scared he will hurt them more. He calls emergency services, and as soon as he hears the sirens, he's gone. He doesn't want to deal with humans.
Horrorswap Papyrus - He's freaking out, because he can't call emergency services, he can't talk! Pumpkin sits next to the child, doing his best to heal them with what little magic he has, but he knows he can't use magic too much or he will faint; he's not as strong as he used to be. Looking on the internet, he found the way to text emergency services in case you can't talk and immediately explain to them what's going on and where he is. He feels sorry he can't communicate with the child, who is clearly traumatized and holding his hoodie for dear life, but they don't understand sign language. He burns out all of his magic right before the ambulance arrives and pretty much passes out in front of them. He wakes up at the hospital, with Chief, who was passing by and saw the rescue services struggling to identify the giant skeleton that saved the kid's life, and immediately freaked out seeing his buddy on the floor. Well, the kid explained everything to the police officers, and Chief told Pumpkin that without his magic, the kid would be gone, so he did well. Pumpkin is happy he could help, even though he will be stressed and tired for days after this.
Horrorfell Sans and Papyrus - Copper freeze in fear. He knows he's going to have a panic attack, but he can't let the child there. So he does something stupid. He grabs the kid and shortcuts straight to the farm, and then he lets the other deal with this because he's about to freak out and he knows that won't end well. Chief notices immediately and sends him to his room, while he calls rescue services. He knows it was a bad move t move them, but at least his brother didn't abandon them in that state and he's ready to fight anyone talking badly about Copper. Chief sits with the child to reassure them and starts to heal them the best he can to prevent further injuries. The kid is completely panicked, circled with giant skeletons, but that's fine, as there is at least Pumpkin. Pumpkin is less scary and he has somewhat of a comforting aura and so Pumpkin keeps the kid calm.
Horrorswapfell Sans - Bear jumps violently at the noise, and gets immediately triggered by all the screams. But... That's a CHILD. He isn't sure what happened; he's blind, but he's an old general, he can tell when people are screaming because they might be dying. He takes a deep breath, then asks his guide dog to take him to the child. He uses his hand to check for the biggest injuries, and winces when he feels a bone poking out. He calls emergency services, trying his best to describe what he thinks happened, and then he simply holds the child's hand, powerless to do more. His magic is too weak to heal; he just focuses on keeping the child awake. When the rescue services arrive, he's shaking so much they decide to take him as well, because he's clearly in a state of shock. He still manages to ask to call someone at the farm, and is relieved when Willow and his brother welcome him at the hospital, as he HATES closed space, and anything relating to medicine for obvious reasons. It's a doctor he trusted that cut through his skull, remember? He's immediately calms down now that he is not alone anymore.
Horrorswapfell Papyrus - This looks like trouble, but he can't let the kid scream on the floor without doing anything. Tiger does his best to not let the blood trigger his hunting instincts as... Well... That could end horribly, and he calls Willow instead, as he has no idea what to do? He's still new to this world; in his world, you don't call anyone if you're hurt, as it's the best way to get killed. Willow calls rescue services for me and asks him to not move, which he can do. The ambulance arrive first though, and Tiger doesn't trust the rescuers, growling at them, nervous. Even though they're here to help, he doesn't stop staring at them and growling at any big movements, warning he won't let them hurt the child more. Willow is quick to arrive and comfort him though. He trusts Willow, even though he's ready to lunge every time the child starts crying again. He will be jumpy all day long.
Swapfell Sans - This is painfully familiar as in his world, it's not rare either that people attack innocent children out of nowhere. Nox runs to them and immediately starts to heal what he can to relieve the pain, while calling for an ambulance. He's a little... Well, traumatized, as a lot of children he found in this state didn't make it and he's a little BIG BIG scared it might happen again. He tries to keep them awake, sometimes a little roughly, and he feels bad, but they can't fall asleep. He is relieved once he is not the only one in charge anymore, but... He comes as well, just in case. He doesn't want to leave that kid alone. While the ambulance is driving, he calls Blue and asks him to join him at the hospital so he can explain what happened.
Swapfell Papyrus - Rus keeps his calm and focuses on remembering the licence plate. Once he is sure he has it, he runs to the child. In emergency cases, Rus is who you want to be with. He's extremely good at keeping his calm in tense situations, and he's the best at comforting people. He calls rescue services, and while he waits, he simply jokes with the child, keeping them calm and safe despite the pain. The rescuers are amazed when they find the kid smiling despite having two broken legs. They still ask if Rus is sure he doesn't want to be a rescuer because damn, they could need more people like him. You know what? Maybe he'll think about it.
Fellswap Gold Sans - Wine summons a bone in front of the car, destroying the motor. The guy immediately tries to run away, but Wine locks him in the car by blocking all doors with bones. Now that this is done, he calmly walks to the child, calling rescue services. He gently moves the child into a lateral position with his magic and talks to them to keep them awake while they wait for the police and the ambulance. Wine waves at the guy as he is arrested, screaming Wine tried to kill him. Who cares? No one cried for people who try to kill little kids. He'll make sure to pay for all treatments for the child as he knows the kid, they're neighbors, and he knows their family doesn't have much money. He also pays for their lawyer, which is Edge, obviously, and Edge promised to make the guy pay.
Fellswap Gold Papyrus - He's completely panicking, but he tries his best, calling the ambulance, struggling on every word. He sits with the child, trying his best to not show it's VERY BAD and how worried he is, forcing a smile and trying to keep them calm. When the kid passes out though, he freaks out for good, but luckily right when the ambulance comes. He throws himself at one of the lady's necks and hugs her for dear life, all his bones rattling. She comforts him for a solid 20 minutes before he calms down and assures her he'll be okay. He leaves his phone number in the child's pocket so their parents can call him if they need it. He walks home, sees his brother... And runs to hug Wine, because he's still not ok and needs comfort.
