He's so committed. Whatever part of himself/the collective unconscious decided he was going to be a bear was EXTREMELY dedicated because he *knows* way too much about bears as the animals they actually are for what we otherwise know about him as a person. By that I mean: being the silly, easily distracted not-literal-bear that Teddie is, one would think he wouldn't really care to know things such as any other species of bears, their habits in the wild, terminology, yet... he does.

The fact that Teddie (not 'other' Teddie, but actual Teddie) can/does use 'Nihil Hand' as one of his attacks is so shocking and fascinating and kind of amazing to me. The very existence of this attack I think speaks volumes about how complicated and even somewhat intellectual his inner world really is.

Though I guess what's more incredible to me than anything is how okay he is with using it! He's an extremely devoted existentialist and nihilism is what he struggles with in contrast, yet he makes a whole attack out of it and activates it with a smile?! Oh, Teddie, you enigma, you.
