For @elsa-fogen Based on her "Incompatible Frequencies" AU
Warning: Contains themes of SA, r*pe, and abuse, as well as scenes of projectile vomiting and diarrhea.
"Stella didn't choose this marriage either" and "Stella still chose to be Stolas' abuser" are two statements that should co-exist.
I need people to understand that Stella is a victim AND an abuser, these things can co-exist in the same person. She's just not a victim of Stolas, but she is a victim of the system. Meanwhile Stolas is a victim of the system AND a victim of Stella (and Andrealphus). That's the difference.
"We want more complex female characters." You people can't even handle Stella.
Miraculous Season 3 What if?
So I've been reading "Karma's a Bitch" by BroadwayCutie16 (great fic, go read it!) and it gave me the idea for this prompt:
As we all know, the class didn't believe Marinette about Lila because they assume she's just being jealous about Lila getting closer to Adrien.
Thing is, Adrien doesn't know about Marinette's crush on him. So from his perspective, they're just being mean to Marinette for literally no reason. And if they can do this to someone they've literally known since they were toddlers, what stopping them from eventually turning on him?
This AU stars a more distrustful and resentful Adrien Agreste, who is sick and tired of being used and exploited by the people in his life, from his own father to his "childhood bestie", Chloe. And now that his classmates have shown their "true" colors, why should he go out of his way to save people who have already shown that they have no problem throwing one of their own under the bus?
So he tells Marinette to "take the high road." Be the bigger person. He plays his part perfectly, acts like the Golden Sunshine Boy everyone expects him to be.
But deep down, he keeps quiet about Lila because he truly believes that the class deserves to be scammed.
A story about Poor Communication Kills, misguided revenge, and loads of unchecked trauma.
Rant incoming
I feel like the problem with a lot of Disney's live action remakes (and arguably Wish) is they're trying to appeal to a crowd that no longer exists, namely the people who used to claim that the Disney Princesses were sexist.
All the interviews tend to include, "Well she's not chasing a MAN anymore" which...almost no one sees the princesses like that, anymore. Virtually NO ONE still believes the princesses are man-chasing sexist caricatures of women.
Cinderella is now hailed as an abuse victim who stayed strong long enough to get help to get out of her situation. Anyone who says she should have saved herself is basically regarded as a victim blamer. And it's very clear in the film she wasn't looking to marry the prince, she just wanted a night off. She was the only one who wasn't in line to meet him. She didn't find out she met the prince until he went looking for her!
Snow White is now hailed for her negotiation skills, ability to calm down after extreme stress (she had a moment of panic and had to cry for a bit, but who wouldn't after finding out The Queen hired someone to kill you?), and ability to take charge of a house of adult men. And again, she was an abuse victim, this time trying to escape ASSASSINATION ATTEMPTS. While she dreamed of her prince, it was secondary to her main goal of SURVIVAL. There are also entire video essays about how Snow White gave hope to people during The Great Depression.
Everyone acknowledges that Ariel wanted to be human BEFORE meeting Eric. We all know she was a nerd hyperfixating on humans, and also standing up to her prejudiced father.
We understand Sleeping Beauty wasn't the main character, the Three Good Fairies were, AND PHILLIP WOULD NEVER HAVE BEATEN MALEFICENT WITHOUT THEM! He literally depended on them! WOMEN SAVED THE DAY! But even then, is it really such a sin for a girl to fantasize about romance and fall for someone with corny pickup lines?
We all understand Jasmine just wanted someone to treat her LIKE A PERSON. She rejected every Prince before Aladdin because they treated her like a prize. So why did they need her to want to be Sultan? How did that make her more feminist when she already wanted to be treated like an equal and have a say in her future? Is it only empowering if you want a career in politics?
We admire that Belle, despite living in a judgemental village, was kind to everyone (even though she found the village life dull), and her story teaches girls that the guy everyone else loves isn't always a good guy. What's sexist about teaching girls about red flags? And she didn't start being nice to The Beast until he started treating her with respect and kindness.
Do I really NEED to defend Mulan or Tiana? I think they speak for themselves.
Rapunzel was yet another abuse victim who just needed a little help to get out of her bad situation. In this case, she also needed to learn that she was an abuse victim, and that what Mother Gothel did WASN'T normal, much like many victims of gaslighting.
And don't get me started on the non-princess animals.
Perdita had a healthy relationship with Pongo to the point she was open to express her pregnancy fears to him, and was ready to TEAR APART Cruella's goons for daring to touch her puppies as well as adopting the other puppies. Like, she was so ferocious the goons mistook her for a hyena! She's basically that "I AM THAT GIRL'S MOTHER!" scene from SpyXFamily if Yor were a dog. She and her husband were a TEAM.....but they made a Cruella live action to turn her into a girlboss?! The literal animal abuser!? THAT'S the woman you wanted to put on a pedestal when Perdita was RIGHT THERE!?
Duchess kept her kittens calm after they had been catnapped and was classy as heck. Nice to everyone regardless of social class during a time period where that was uncommon.
Lady stood up to Tramp when she believed he had abandoned her and didn't really care about her. She found out he was a heartbreaker and was like, "Nuh uh. No. You are not doing that to me! You put me through enough."
Miss Bianca from The Rescuers was IN CHARGE the whole movie, and was willing to risk life and limb to save an innocent child. THAT TINY MOUSE TOOK ON ALLIGATORS! And she picked Bernard to accompany her because he was the only one who wasn't ogling her. And then in the sequel SHE DID IT ALL AGAIN! I wish I were as brave as her.
Like, the public haven't accused these ladies of being sexist caricatures since 2014 (Actresses and actors don't count, they're out of touch like the rest of Hollywood) yet Disney is operating under the assumption that the public still thinks that way, hence all the "sHe'S nOt AfTeR a MaN iN ThIs VeRsIOn" talk.
The live action remakes are trying to attract an audience that doesn't really exist much, anymore, and back when it did exist, was comprised mainly of people who didn't actually watch the films. The Disney princesses are no longer seen as sexist, and feminine qualities are no longer seen as weak or undesirable.

Anyone else feel like a majority of the bullshit in Season 2 could have been avoided if Charlie just took a fucking nap?
"Why don't you help them, you double-dealing manipulator?"
"Bitch don't you even start! I spent God knows how long trapped with that delusional glorified iPad and his lackeys, Diddy Gonzalez and Instagram Barbie, listening to his BULLSHIT and trying not to claw my skin off cuz that Jim Jones wannabe can't keep his hands to himself, all so I could potentially break off the deal I had with YOU! Which I only did, because you wouldn't just fix my fucking staff! Do not fucking test me! I am getting my stick fixed today, and if I have to stand here and watch every single one of those assholes get vaporized, you and me included, to get you to actually cooperate for once, then so fucking be it!!!!!"

What gets me about the ending of the live action “Lilo and Stitch” movie, is that it renders the whole movie completely pointless!
In the animated film, right as Stitch is about to be taken away and sent into exile, Lilo shows the Grand Councilwoman his adoption papers, stating that legally, she owns him, and if they take him, they’re stealing.
Now, at this point, the GC has seen firsthand that Stitch is no longer the little hellion she met before. He’s standing upright, speaking clearly and calmly, and has found a family he loves, and who love him back. But, rules are rules, the Council has already made its decision. So when Lilo shows her the adoption papers, it gives her just enough of a loophole to go, “Oh well, we can’t take him, so I guess he’ll just have to serve his sentence here, on this planet, with these people.”
And since Lilo and Nani are now responsible for Stitch’s welfare, it means they can’t be split up. Lilo saved Stitch from being sent away, and in turn, Stitch saved Lilo from being sent away.
In the live action film, Nani gives up custody of Lilo to her neighbors so she can study abroad…except she could have done that at any point! Stitch play no role in her decision! His role in the film is rendered moot, and the entire plot is rendered pointless!
Fans Of VoiceBoss and Rogues! The Podcast, I Need Help
As you probably know, Voiceboss used to have a blog on Tumblr called TheRiddlerSpeaks. He made 100 audio files, or "casefiles" that were initially their own project, and that predated the universe of the Rogues! The Podcast as it is now. He has since revamped his original files and deleted his original blog.
I used to own these files, until they were deleted via computer error. The only way to access the original 100 casefiles is through Voiceboss's Patreon, or through the Wayback Machine. Due to not having any money, Patreon is not an option for me at the moment. I was fortunately able to find most of the original files with help from the Wayback Machine. All except 10 of them. They are as follows:
Casefile #0027
Casefile #0040
Casefile #0045
Casefile #0054
Casefile #0056
Casefile #0058
Casefile #0059
Casefile #0061

If there is anyone out there that has a copy of any of these files in their possession, please message me and send them to me! Thanks in advance
