hatssun⌠i just have to let you know that i still think of the cologne series regularly. like wood sage and sea salt to be exact, like itâs just so beautifully written and iâm so thankful to have met you because of those fics <3 canât wait to read more of your stuff
WYRRRRRR I LOVE YOU BABY iâve been so inactive but i promise iâm not gone and iâm still writing things!!! iâm so glad that cologne was what got us to meet here and iâm so happy that you enjoyed it so much that you still think about it todayđŤśđŤśđŤśđŤś I LOVE YOU MUAH
Ëâ¡ ÍÍÍÍâłâĽ itâs bingo! and also a raffle.
letâs party!! one thing about me is that is love a little event and since itâs my birthday month i felt like hosting one :3c
so: raffle time! but you gotta play some bingo first before you can participate. lemme give you a rundown on how it works.
what's the prize?
â° a total of three 1k (or longer) fics from me! i donât take requests so this is a rare chance to see something specific written by me
â° the 3 winners will receive a wishlist form from me in which they can go wild
â° haikyuu x reader only! gender of reader is for the winners to decide, iâll write for all of them.
â° not limited to sfw only (that being said: mdni)
details & rules (it looks like a lot, but i promise it's easy)
â° to participate in the raffle, you gotta fill out the bingo cards! thereâs ten of them in total at the end of this post. some are writing prompts, some are for reading, some to spread some kindness. you can grab and combine any that catch your interest.
â° 1 bingo equals 1 point. if you manage to fill out an entire card, youâll get 10 points, so 10x your name in the draw pot for the raffle. this means you can get up to 100 points in total if you fill out all ten cards completely.
â° itâs not first come, first serve! you got two weeks to have fun with your bingo cards.
â° this event is mostly about making fandom a little better for everyone, whether youâre a writer or a reader, no matter how you participate in it. this means you donât have to show me proofs how you got these bingos. putting my trust in you that you wonât cheat <3
â° since the prizes are gonna be fics by me, i would feel better knowing you actually like my works enough to follow me. however, itâs not a must to be a follower to participate. again, itâs more about fandom than me.
â° writers picking up the writing prompts: it up to you how you use them! can be drabbles or headcanons, small fics, big fics, moodboards, not limited to haikyuu only. really whatever sparks your inspiration. you donât even have to publish it or tag me in it (though iâd love to see ofc hehe), this is for YOU and your inspiration.
â° do NOT bring any ai into this. i'll rip you to shreds
â° once youâre finished, either reblog this post with your bingo cards or send me an ask with them (i wonât publish them, just for me to keep track)
â° iâll draw & announce the three winners on Jan 27th and will contact them through dms for their wishlist :3
Thank you so much for tagging me, Venus & @voidcat!
This is... fascinating, I accidentally closed the window after taking the quiz (wanted to minimize so the text would be denser but hit the wrong button đ) and when I retook it with the same answers I got a different result! My first result was lovable puppy too!
Anyway, no pressure tagging: @akumicchi @rainbowxmisa @littleplantfreak @oceaneyesinla @breakdawn-avenue
thanks for the tag Tater Tot! đđ
the idea that you have a small dedicated fanbase that properly appreciates you in depth is something I approve of.
there's no rule that says the picrew has to resemble you right?
so this is what happens when you pick pride and prejudice instead of lilo and stich...
the irony of being assigned this as a fluff writer.

genre(s): strangers to potential lovers, meet-cute?? meet-unfortunate?? who knows, fluff, slight crack
warning(s): nothing! safe and gn reader!
wc: ~1.8k
tldr; Is is a Christmas misfortune? A Christmas miracle? Is it both?
delivered to @yogurtkags with love (and slight tomfoolery) as a part of @lale-txt's secret santa event!!
It starts with the wine. Riesling, specifically. Riesling served just as you saunter from your table to the one immediately next to it. The waitress hesitates, stammers backwards by a single step at the sudden motion, and you plant your palms firmly on the red velvet tablecloth that is not your own. Kicking the seat back, you lower yourself onto cold wood and shoot a measly smile at the poor stranger across from you, whoâs just had his quiet dinner interrupted by some dolled-up random.Â
âThere you are, been looking for you everywhere!â His eyes widen, and you come to the realisation that he is just as confused as everyone else at this table is. âWho wouldâve thought you were right under my nose?â You can answer that questionâ nobody wouldâve thought. In fact, nobody knows who anybody is. His head snaps towards the waitress, who stares at him helplessly, a bottle of unopened Riesling in hand. It would be a Christmas miracle if this guy entertained you. In fact, youâd put up the Christmas tree in your flat for once and give your missing date a quick âunmerry Christmas, go fuck yourself!â text if you donât get kicked out of this restaurant right here and right now.Â
âI- I donât-âÂ
âI knooooooow, right?â And now youâre throwing your head back, smiling at the ceiling as you pray that this works, the voice in your head chanting please, please, PLEASE work, God help me on Christmas. Your head whips back upright, and comes face to face with mystery man again. You shoot him a glance, a pitiful expression halfway between desperation and irritation. The face an angry mother makes when sheâs too socially aware to rip her kid a new one in public. The kind of look you give someone where you are unequivocally fucked, and have no way out of whatever mess youâve gotten into without their help. Hopefully that strikes a nerve, and judging by the way he swallows subtly, you think it has. âI donât even know how I could be so stupid sometimes!â
âRight, literally right under my nose. Iâve been waiting for youâŚâ
âY/n. I believeâŚ. Yes, Hinata! Yeah, she set us up.â That sounds convincing enough. âCanât believe this is the first impression I make, I am so sorry.â The waitress slams the bottle of Riesling into the table, and sighs, rubbing her elbows and mumbling under her breath as she turns to walk away. Your shoulders collapse, and you huff out in relief when the sound of liquid hitting glass enters your ears.Â
âDo you by any chance⌠like Riesling?â Mystery man is tipping wine into your glass. Maybe you should shoot that text to your MIA date soon.
âNever tried it.â
He breathes out a chuckle through his nose, pouring himself a glass after yours. âGood, at least you donât hate it outright.â You take a swig of wine. It's tangy, acidic, and now you know you hate it, spare for the way your tongue tingles with excitement. One look at mystery man and you realise that he, too, is dolled-up on Christmas night but sitting alone at a table for two. What one look does not tell you is how the shirt collar on his neck feels too tight for his liking, how his sweat is seeping through and sticking to the stiff sleeves of his navy blazer, and how he can feel his toes squishing against each other in his freshly polished oxfords. It also fails to tell you about how he knows his date isnât going to show, but with the way you've invaded his space on a whim, then drunk out of the glass meant for another person right after, he thinks he's okay with this for the night.
âTough luck for everyone tonight, huh?â You swirl the remaining wine in your glass, snickering half-heartedly. Grabbing a sad piece of bread from a neglected bread basket just beside the bottle of Riesling, you rip it apart and slather butter all over the exposed side before offering it to him. âWant some?â
He hesitates, taking it from between your fingers and ripping away the buttered surface. He takes a bite, places it down, and washes it down by chugging the cup of sparkling water in front of him. âSorry, on a strict diet.â
âStrict diet, but you choose this place?â You wave your hand at nothing in particular, before shrugging it back in awkwardly because you have no idea who this guy is, what he does, what heâs going through, and youâve just mocked his choice of Christmas dinner. Way to go! âSorry, that came off badly.â He chuckles, which has to mean he isnât offended. It also makes his face twist into a smirk that only shows one side of his toothbed, and you arenât too sure how to decipher that.Â
âWell, strict diet in the sense that Iâm planning my meals with this dinner in mind.â He picks up a menu, another item you havenât seemed to notice until now, and flips through the pages. âFuck, this looks incredible.â You watch his face inch closer to the pages, his eyes widening and brows furrowing periodically. âCanât believe I was ready to leave just five minutes ago, after going through all this trouble booking the table.â
âLeave?â
âWas about to get kicked out, if anything.â
You finish your glass of Riesling in one go, wincing as it trickles down your throat. This is a Christmas miracle. You should really put up the Christmas tree, and maybe even put up some stockings by the door so you can blow your money and pretend Santa put those new headphones in the sock. You donât have to imagine, because you can remember the exact face of the waiter that crept up to your table five minutes ago, and politely chewed you out over not ordering anything for half an hour, and taking up a table for two alone.
âWell, Iâm sorry, and youâre welcome.â
âYou are most definitely welcome.â He hands you the leather-backed menu, and you scan the fine print. âDo you happen to actually know Hinata?â
âOh, no. Made that up on the spot.â Your eyes land on steak frites, and you make a note in your head to order that when the time comes. âWhat, do you?â
âYeah, had a guy like that play volleyball on my team years ago.â You look at him over the top of the menu, and heâs staring wistfully at his empty glass of water. If you didnât know any better, youâd think he was filming a music video. âHeâs off in Brazil now, doesnât even play on the same team anymore.â
âSo youâre a volleyball player?â You place the menu down, and gesture with your hands. âI used to play, couldnât do much but miss the ball, though.â You shake your head and he chuckles again, except this time his face melts into a smile completely. âDidnât even make the first cut for the school team.â
âIâm sure you could have if you tried.â
âOh yeah, it was just my master plan.â Leaning backwards into your chair, your feet tap against the ground. The smile may or may not have done you in, and you havenât even learned of mystery manâs name yet. âMy master plan to get stood up four years down the line and flirt with a volleyball player instead of being one.â His eyes widen again, and you freeze at the possibility that you may be chopped liver from now on. Then he laughs, a genuine one at that, whole rack of teeth on display while his head tips back just a little bit. He watches you pour yourself another glass of wine, and tries to flicker his eyes across your entire body. All he catches is sage green, but thatâs enough for him to need another glass of water.Â
âThank God for both of our shitty dates then, I guess.â He picks up his glass from the table and tips it towards your own in a tiny toast. Your cheeks are flushed, and he can feel warmth creeping to his ears. Has anyone ever blatantly flirted this way before? Hinata doesnât count, but you sure remind him of the little mound of orange hair in all the right ways. And yes, he will be sending his missing date a âfuck you merry muchâ text after heâs done with you. The live band, gone unnoticed until now begins to play a Christmas jingle, bells and trumpets ringing in the background of this not-very-romantic-nor-anticipated date.Â
âGetting stood up on Christmas night has to be criminal.â Your shoulders rise and drop to each jingling bell, and you watch as mystery man joins you. Hopefully heâs having as much fun as you are, because something inexplicable is telling you that he might be stuck having fun with you for longer than you initially thought. And you think you are okay with that, because itâs also much better than holding out for a hermit who canât even show up to a date that you booked and planned for.Â
âYeah, we should start putting spoiled milk into the stockings at their doorstep.â
You laugh, waving your hands in front of yourself, and he fights the urge to pull your hands apart to study every line and crevice of your face.Â
âWhat? Iâm sure you agree.âÂ
âI do! I do agree! Itâs devious, I love it!â
A joyous giggle sounds from his throat, one that hasnât been let out for years. Heâs putting up the tree tonight. Heâll dig up the old christmas tree in the attic of his family house, and fish for the gold star with a corner chipped off thatâs probably lying underneath a pile of random junk in a forgotten box. Itâs a Christmas miracle, heâs sure of it. Meanwhile, youâre giggling with mystery man, and when he takes another sip from his glass you do the same, before heâs putting his hand up to order food.Â
âWait,â you press your palm into the space just in front of mystery manâs plate. âIâve been calling you mystery man in my head all this time.â
âWell, change that to Kageyama. Kageyama Tobio.â
And now all the giggles, and the smiles, and the smirks, all have a new ownerâ Kageyama Tobio, whoâs accidentally become your Christmas miracle. And as he blurts out his order of steak frites, you wonder if you happen to be Kageyama's as well.

the crows and cats christmas reunion (kuroo tetsurou/reader)
m.list - read on ao3
A/N: written for @hatsukeii for the hq x reader secret santa exchange! I hope you enjoy ⨠also special thanks to @nectardaddy for the divider!
Summary: Your high school crush on your rival teamâs captain actually comes to fruition in college. The problem? You both receive invites to the upcoming Christmas-slash-reunion party, and youâre nowhere near prepared to tell your high school social group about your new boyfriend. The solution, at least, is easy enough: just donât tell them!
Warnings and Tags: university au, reader is a former karasuno manager, christmas parties, fluff and a lil bit of crack lmao, alcohol use, gender neutral reader
Words: 1700+
It was his laugh that did you in.
You couldn't begin to guess what he'd been laughing at, just that Karasuno had just beaten their sworn rivals and you were in tears, and that you'd paused everything because Nekoma's captain just laughed in a way that had him throwing his head back, chest fully shaking with the force of it.
That had been your reckoning: the flash, the oh, the clichĂŠd emotions gripping you and not letting go.
Not a problem. He was the captainânow former, as of that exact momentâof your rival team, and you had a duty to be loyal to the team you managed for, and you could be, because he was graduating and you wouldn't see him again. Not a problem at all.
Only, see, that crush had been easy to ignore when he wasn't in front of you, when you didn't have to confront the sound of his voice or his stupid hair or the shape of his shoulders orâgod forbidâhis laugh again. So, naturally, he'd gotten into the habit of dropping in on joint training camps, wearing stupid hoodies that looked unbearably good on him andâyou swear itâsmiling at you when he caught you staring. And, naturally, you had somehow been the one he asked with some stupid excuse about how he didn't know his way around anymore and could you help out, if you weren't busy?
You hadn't been.
So in your final year of high school, at some training camp you hardly remember except for that one moment, escorted a definitely-for-sure lost alum of Nekoma High School out and paused when you rounded a corner and found that the two of you were completely alone. And maybe, yeah, you kissed him, then, and yeah, he walked away, and somehow, you didn't even feel heartbroken about it. No words, just that.
You'd given your first kiss to Kuroo Tetsurou, and nothing had changed at all.
Then college. Moving on. Living your life, working towards your degree, and surely you must be over him by now, like it would ever have gone anywhere to begin with. Yeah, you think about itâhow could you not when he showed up to the games and the camps and smiled at you every time, when you still remember that kiss but can't remember his reply except that nothing had come of it and he still smiled at you after that so clearly he didn't hate you?âbut you're over him and over it and goddammit there he is on your campus. Something which you could have anticipated, if you'd thought about the fact that Kuroo Tetsurou with that enchanting laugh who you kissed that one time went to the same university, hadn't he been wearing a university sweatshirt when you'd kissed him?
But you hadn't anticipated it. So of course you noticed him. Of course you stopped in your tracks. Of course you'd stared, and spilled your coffee all over yourself like a dumbass, and frantically tried to blot it out with the meager napkin supply that had come with your coffee and pastry, and then found yourself interrupted byâwho else?âKuroo fucking Tetsurou, smiling at you in that crooked way, eyes alight with recognition.
"My dorm's not far," he'd said, "do you want to maybe borrow a shirt?"
You deflated. You agreed. You borrowed a shirt and left with his phone numberâostensibly to pick your shirt back up later and return hisâand a date, which had been amazing and maybe you're still dating by the time December rolls around and maybe, just maybe, you're in his lap when his and your phones both ping with texts in perfect unison.
And maybe you hadn't mentioned to any of your high school friends that you'd begun dating the rival high school's former captain.
"I don't see what the big deal is," he laughs as it dawns on you. "We can just tell them."
"Okay, no, not with the guys I graduated with. The guys in your year were reasonable, Kuroo. The rest were and are half demons and half the type of guys who can survive multiple years of sustained contact with the demons. They're gonna flip."
"You spent years wrangling them, I'm sure you can handle it."
You whine, drop your head against his shoulder. "What if we just⌠didn't tell them yet? Get through the party, pretend everything's normal, and then we can come back and go wild."
"We'll see how that goes."
#
For your information, that is going great. You'd shown up separately, gravitated naturally to different parts of the roomâyou're catching up with Shimizu and the other upperclassmen, drink in hand and eyes firmly pointed away from where Kuroo's harassing Tsukishima, amongst others. Sure, Suga's been doing his damnedest to get you to admit details about the secret boyfriend you obviously would have gotten the second you went away to university (you appreciate his faith in you). He thinks he's being slick, but he's really, really not.
"I told you, Suga, I am focusing on my studies."
"Does your studies pay for dates?"
You roll your eyes. "Yeah, sure. You're awful interested in my dating life, Suga-san. Why's that, again?"
"Oh, no reason."
The gambit for tonight absolutely requires that you let on nothing. You're not even entirely sure where Suga's idea that you got a boyfriend came from. You've been doing good. You're barely even looking at Kuroo. You're not even visibly reacting when you hear his laugh from across the room! The Crows and Cats Christmas Reunion (per the invitationâyou've been calling it "garbage dump Christmas") is going great.
And then you catch Nishinoya on Tanaka's shoulders, pinning what you think is probably supposed to be mistletoe but is definitely holly to a door frame. It's visibly fake, but they're clearly putting a lot of effort into it.
Not a problemâyou avoid it pointedly, watch a few others get caught under it and peer-pressured by tipsy busybodies into sharing a kiss with their fellow victims. The night drags on, and you have fun but maybe one drink too many, and when you slip into the hallway towards the kitchen to hopefully snag some water, a very familiar hand rests on your shoulder to help guide you.
"Hanging in there alright?"
"Kuroo," you whisper, "we're not supposed to beâ"
"[name]-san!" Nishinoya shouts at the top of his lungs. "Kuroo-san! You're under the mistletoe; you gotta kiss!"
"âoh my god," you mutter, dragging a hand down your face.
A few of the rowdier guys cheer their agreements. You roll your eyes, turn to explain why you will not be doing that no matter how nice Kuroo looks in that sweater, and get as far as "that isn't even mistletoeâ" before long fingers are gently tilting your chin up for a kiss.
Of course you kiss back. Bastard.
His lips are soft and warm and everything and he tastes vaguely like beer. You lean into it, mostly just to shut the guys up as your hand slides up to the nape of his neck. He responds in kindâfree hand finds the small of your back, pulls you just that tiny bit closer, and for just a moment, you forget where you are and who's watching.
When you pull away, you're met with narrowed eyes.
"That was not the first time you two have kissed. There's no fucking way," one of the guys shouts.
You roll your eyes, try to play it off. "Maybe you should stretch before reaching like that. You're gonna pull a muscle or something."
"No, but, like, you were totally heart eyes at him all throughout school," Tanaka says. "If that had actually been your first kiss, you'd be like, dying on the floor right now or something. You're doing that whole tough thing."
"Has it occurred to youâ"
Ennoshita cuts you off with a sharp look. "That whole tough act they do when they're trying to avoid questions? And aren't you two at the same university now?"
"You bagged him and didn't tell us? [name]-san!" Noya's voice is absolutely aghast.
Kuroo's eyes linger on you. "Bagged me?"
"I maybe had a little crush on you," you mumble, cheeks burning hot. "Did you not know? We straight up kissed at one point?"
He blinks. "What?"
"What?"
"That never happened. I have no idea what you're talking about."
You look at him. You're starting to get pretty good at reading whether or not he's messing with you for fun, but he seems completely, genuinely serious.
"We did. Last year. You came to visit and we ended up kissing but then you neverâ"
Oh. Oh no.
Oh my god.
The realization sinks in, and as you stare into your red solo cup of mysteriously strong holiday punch, you realize there's no getting out of this.
You tip the cup back and chug the rest. Kuroo is laughing over the music and the flood of alcohol burning your system, and you put all your mental energy into not crushing the cup in your hand.
"Wait, who are you thinking of?"
"Who would [name] even have mistaken him for? It's not exactly easy to mistake Kuroo for anyone else," Kenma says.
Point of order:
You don't remember how you ended up kissing. You don't remember how he reacted or why. Every time you saw each other after that, he acted like nothing ever happened.
"What, babe," Kuroo teases, "did you mix me up with someone else, or did you just dream it entirely?"
"S-shut up," you mumble.
"Oh my god. Did you actuallyâ"
"No, nope, we're not talking about thisâ"
The grin on his face widens. "I think we are. Did you actually convince yourself that we kissed in your third year? Is that why you got extra skittish in the back half of the year?"
"Kuroo, I am going to kill youâ"
The mortification feels like it's seeped into your very bones, but then he drops his head back and laughs and you can't bring yourself to finish the threat. You might not ever live this down, but it's made him laugh, and for a moment, you can forget that your friends are watching this and someone's gonna bring up this story if you ever make it to a wedding.
BOOOOOOOOM SHAKALAKA YESSSSSS LAWWWWWWWWDđđđđ I LOVE YOU KUROO TETSURO I LOVE YOU FOREVER AND EVER MY KING THIS IS INCREDIBLE I LOVE U SM FOR THIS GRAE
